Hi,Geweidaxia:
I tried to use netcfg under redhat6.0 to do ppp.
below is the result in /var/log/messages,it seemed when
connection
is established,the modem hangs up,why? How to make long
life?

I applied a domain name;
I have my own mahcine with static ip address.
How do I setup a DNS server so I can just type something like:
http://whatever.com to visit my website instead of http://111.11.11.00

here is how it happened
I went to a website, the very moment I was there
my computer hangs
after that, everytime I start windows XP
it can still log in, it can show the desktop
but I can not start any program, the mouse icon is always an hourglass
I open taskmanager, it still can terminate tasks, but that is about it
nothing further
I do not want to format the harddisk, too many data and software
anything I can do?
Please help . if you help me out, anytime you come to LA, I will tre |
