将来如果不做教授的话, 能找什么样的工作? 求指教!

If the rank difference is more than 10, its ranking should be more important
than the other things. College ranking is useless as long as they stay in a
reasonable range.
As for the location, for Ph.D., it is not that important while it is truly
important for masters... If you are more inclined to go to small companies
and start-ups, location is important. But anyway I can feel that the life

considered some form of debt in SF bay area? Just kidding :-P
Guess if IP is absolutely your only thing, there's no right or wrong
choice here. Otherwise, I personally favor UC Davis -- it's got a UC name
tag after all. But all is conditioned on your personal/family status. |

UC Davis & University of Florida 两个都是Biostatistics PhD
U Florida bios phd是今年才第二届的新program 在public health院下面
课几乎都是跟统计所的一起上 (统计是全美top 9)
我相信他的未来也可以发展很好 但是不知道要不要赌一把
他给我的期限是一个礼拜内回复(也就是这个礼拜一了)

发帖数: 423 | 22 去UCD吧, UCD biostat跟stat一起上课的，课程方面挺不错的。而且UCD总排名比UFL好
，地理位置也不错，虽然稍微内陆了点，但是去SF也就2个钟，附近还有sacramento，
买亚洲食品非常方便。个人感觉UFL统计虽然排名高，但是感觉有点没落，george
casella是大牛，但是其他faculty好像也不是特别有名。个人推荐去uc davis。 |

最近看了不少电影，包括去电影院看的新电影也包括在电脑上看的老电影，当然也有标
题里提的这一部。看了有一段时间了，总想写点什么，又不知道该怎么写。在去看之前
，只知道这个片子评价很高，播放的影院并不多，还是一个文艺片，所以一直拖到最近
才终于决定去看了一下。
大致来说就是61年的一个唱民谣的人的一周生活情形，失意，跌倒，爬起，虽然描绘的
很隐晦。这电影其实是采取的倒叙的写法，在club里唱完歌，被打，然后直接跳到从一
周前开始描述主人公的生活，一直到结尾衔接了起来，表明他在影片开头歌曲中所表达
所寄托的对搭档死亡的忧伤，描述了他被打的原因，紧接民谣新星的出现和主人公注定
不太成功的命运。其实可以很不厚道的说，传统意义上，这人就是一个loser，电影里

2. 看楼上wxx07的图2，我昨天把84号茅斯看成LOS最左边的一个，现在仔细一看，茅斯
已经后退了一步，所以他不在LOS上。这样，either davis or crabtree 后退一步，另
一个就是eligible receiver，应该就没有问题了。
1. again, 昨天我把Davis看成center左边第二个，所以就以为他打OT的位置，那样的
话他就应该向裁判报告。今天仔细看了一下rule book,是这样说的：
