LOGAN — An early morning head-on collision killed one person and injured
three others near Logan Saturday.
Around 8:30 a.m., a man driving an Acura MDX drifted into oncoming traffic
in the southbound lane, striking a Ford F-350 head-on, which was pulling a
boat on U.S. 89 near the Franklin Basin turnoff, according to Lt. Lee Perry
with Utah Highway Patrol. The driver of the Ford attempted to move to the
shoulder, but was not successful.
