I need to so a sql query on IBM netezza sql database from Aginity workbench
on win7.
My query:

有方法把测试数据弄到web database上么? 然后作简单计算,画图 出表单或者报告啥的

发帖数: 29 | 21 不用着急。常见的database有四种，sybase, sql server, db2,oracle,开源的my sql
也比较常用。
无论哪种database,都无所谓。sas有接口。只要会sas的query语句就可以了。
比如select, update,....
说实话，sas advanced里边用到的query语句，已经挺复杂了。
其它的东西，比如创建新数据库，备份数据库，恢复数据库等，都是非常简单的。傻瓜
化了的操作，看别人操作一次就会了。
我觉得不可能让统计人员更新数据库的，最多就是从数据库里读取一些资料罢了。不用
担心太多。

Since you know accsee, why not try to use SAS to connect Access and read
some data from Access?
The other databases are exactly the same with Access except for the
connettion parameters. |

large dataset.
My understanding is SAS is not using any of the mainstream database system
like oracle, sql server, etc ... it developed it's own relational database,
and thus has lots of nice buildin functions, like transpose and _N_. It's
true SAS do not maintain index (based on my SAS Adv cert guide), but you can
always index tables right before a complicated query. Of course you could beat SAS if you write all code in |

是用怎样利用空余时间的呢？比如我想在找工作时间之外，多做一些 database 的
project, 提高自己 SQL 的能力， 但是在网上找不到相关的资源。不是很
倾向再看书了，因为都看过了，更想做一些实际的东西，在简历上能有帮助。大家有没
有人知道在哪里能找一些和统计,database 相关的volunteer 的工作呢？
虽然没有钱拿，但是这样也可以多增加自己的相关经历。如果有谁需要stat people 的

在UNIX上存储了ORACLE的DATABASE.有个简单的问题是,这些DATABASE我以前没用过,
PART A,PART B, PART D的数据.很多的TABLE.
是否有一段CODE,我可以把这些TABLE以及里面的COLUMN(VARIABLE)都抓出来,放到EXCEL
或其他什么文件里,便于我了解这些数据的结构.
