你说的非常对，PCR来检测DNA repair非常罕见
我要解释一下，
我压根不是做DNA damage/repair的，我有兴趣的一段疾病相关的序列repetitive
simple sequence，根据各种原因我相当怀疑是和DNA damage/repair相关的。我的
hypothesis是：这段疾病相关的repetitive序列或许更加vulnerable to 外界的DNA
damage， 或者DNA repair的修复能力跟其他普通序列不同，从而能为疾病机制提供新
的发现
我看了大部分DNA damage/repair领域的文章，我感觉大部分的工作都是global的比如
测量一下DNA损伤的marker比如H2AZ或者H3k56ac的level。但我的兴趣一定是需要精确
到DNA-specific或者gene-specific的
能精确到sequence-specific的我能想到的也就是PCR了

然后用FPG这种能识别8-oxoG的酶来切，被切的基因组位点会产生nick，阻碍PCR
polymerase，基于这样的原理做qPCR定量来研究某段序列对于oxidative damage的反
应。
好像这种做法比较少见，大部分DNA damage的研究都是global的。但也有很好的先例比

我听说两个网站数据源不同。但我想如果是较大的事故应该两家都有记录吧？
如果只有一家有记录是不是说明是较小的事故或是其它较小的意外？
看有的版友的报告有damage程度的描述 minor，moderate 之类的。我的这个carfax咋没有呢？只写了“01/11/2009 Damage Report Damage reported after accident or other incident Damage to right front ”
车子年份和mile都不错，如果能判断是较小的damage考虑据此杀杀价。

我买的是Geico保险。

发帖数: 9 | 12 这两天看了辆 11年 Acura 一手车, 低里程(<10k), clean title.
车子看起来无事故, 但是车上有hail damage, 车顶, hood, 左车身.(total 30~50
dents, 不深, 无掉漆) 不过carfax上竟然没纪录.
车主是个阿三, 车子纪录有lien report, 推测是贷款or lease, 不过车主宣称目前
title在他名下.
既然是贷款, 车子应该有全险, 不过carfax记录没有hail damage. 估计阿三车主不太
可能有全险却不claim hail damage 也不修车. 一般有可能claim了damage, 钞票收了
但是没修车, 但还没听过不claim也不修的.
所以我怀疑是我们这两年前的hail storm(本地三四十年最严重的hail storm), 车商卖
出来的. 阿三用discount价格捡来. 因为那场hail发生在4月底, 车子第一笔注册纪录(
卖出)在六月初. 不过我记得车商要卖hail damage车应该要注记吧? 这是不是车商在搞
鬼??

吗要赔？除非你能证明amzn partner ＵＰＳ损坏的那就不是"Distributor Damaged",
如用Ｆedex的，你得自己找Ｆedex赔保险。硬扯皮一二回给ups然后amzn赔是可能的，
但amzn不会老当冤大头。再说ＦＢＡ东西来自四面八方，来回折腾，很多说得清楚吗？
几年下来ＦＢＡ， 大家都会见很多"Distributor Damaged"的 ，我从没见amzn赔，至
少不会自动赔。有一次除外， 有二个大块头大印机显示了”Distributor Damaged“

装上木地板，但是整个一层都有地暖（radiant heat），在客厅装木地板的时候钉子打
穿了地暖的管子。Seller's Disclosure上也说地暖的管道破了，换了地暖管道。但是
我就一直觉得肯定有water damage。我们的代理一直跟我们说，就算漏水也就是漏一点
点儿，没事儿的，你看地下室的天花板都没事儿。Inspection的人也没发现地下室的墙
壁和天花板有大问题。
但是我还是觉得肯定修过water damage，虽然Seller's Disclosure上没写。我就让我
们的代理催要维修收据。结果要来几张收据。请大家帮我看看，问题严重吗？在Seller

9/10/2012 病人要求退货，defective
9/18/2012 收到病人退货，但是打开一看，有被摔过的痕迹，见附件。
9/19/2012 发信问病人，图片上的damage是怎么回事？ 病人回信说不知道，他寄回来
的时候是完好的。
9/20/2012 我回复说这损坏不是我的责任，不管你知不知道。我会charge 35%
restocking fee.
9/21/2012 病人AZ。 我基于排除法，判断病人撒谎。病人寄回来的时候电脑没有
damage, 中间要么UPS和我damage了电脑，要么病人撒谎。 UPS寄过来的盒子是完好的
，minor damage都没有，我没有动机做这个，只能是病人撒谎，我按照这个思路
represent给了amazon，希望amazon判我赢。

material model has already handled your problem. I don't understand why you
need damage tolerance.
About crack growth, damage size increase, delamination area, it all depends
how to define them in your model. Say damage parameter (0-1) for crack
growth, you can visualize it in any CAE software after running simulation.

一个星期前提的车，最近发现松方向盘车会往右偏。local一个名声很好independent
repair shop老板给我的一些建议。他以前在一家dealer做car inspection 20yrs。他
说先查alignment，比如左右对调轮子又偏左，那基本是胎的问题。如果车之前有
structure damage，那怎么做alignment都没用。"dealer not suppose to sell a car
with structure damage" he said. 他说可以跟卖车dealer搞，通常他们会换／卖一
辆。cash back不太可能。
如果不幸真是有structure damage，请大家支招如何跟dealer搞？需要找律师吗？如果

乐意买。但值不值的，只有你自己最清楚，因此问这种问题通常不会有什么准确的答复
，我当然可以跟你说值得买，反正你买完傻眼回家哭我也不会给你退钱。其次，frame
damage是个比较严重的事情，不是说顶碎个bumper，撞塌一扇车门，甚至hood掀飞就算
frame damange。这些东西大部分都是bolt到unibody上去的，因此换了拧下来换就可以
，unibody结构大致上说起来是把车体整个的焊接到底盘的rail上面去。这一大块东
西是没法换的，因为整个在一起，换它就等于换一台车，原则上来说，只有这个骨架受
损才可以称为frame damange。很多frame damage都可以修复，比如小到pillar弯曲，
大到strut tower变形或者firewall变形，都可以尝试修复，如果damage在一定的允许
范围内（通常比较小）。但如果说的是车底部的rail变形，情况就严重的多，但也是可

，应该是被追尾，bumper换了新的。很可能尾巴附近的frame受损。
请问，这种情况严重吗？
价格为$14500. 从dealer处买。
因为不了解frame damage,已经付了$200的定金。

就是不清楚这个 primarily damaged 到底是怎么个概念？
打电话问车主说都是非常小的情况，比如“only a very tiny dent on the corner of
the hood”。英语不好，primarily这里到底怎么解？
PS：昨天联系了个车主，他提供的carfax report。但是最后一个record是10年3月，
64k miles。carfax是11年5月的。craigilist post于前天写是70k。电话问了说这一年
来确实没怎么开。车别的都满意，听着也没口音。我要再去买个autocheck验一下，还
是说应该没问题直接去看车就好？ |

WINDSHIED 的 CHIP OR 小的CRACKs. 这种修复一般都是 100刀以内, 保险公司经常鼓
励大家修 以免将来裂大了要整个换, 会 WAIVE 掉你的DEDUCTIABLE, 也就是说不要自
己以为有DEDUCTABLE 反正要自己掏小钱,就不修. 其实原来很多保险给你修,不用自己
出钱的.
这个CLAIM 数额小, GLASS CLAIM 性质, 所以应该不会上 CAXFAX的DAMAGE报告,是比较
放心CLAIM的. |

Uninsured motorist (UM) coverage只包括在对方没有保险时自己身体受的伤，所以也
叫uninsured motorist bodily injury (UMBI) coverage。
法律一般不要求uninsured motorist property damage coverage (UMPD),所以如果你
保想在对方没有保险时自己财产的损失而又不想买全保，你就得加几块钱买uninsured
motorist property damage coverage (UMPD)。
uninsured motorist property damage coverage (UMPD)是错在对方而对方又没有保险
时有效，所以很便宜，但保额上限不高。如果你的车有些年头了，UMPD也许是个不错的
