different with the curriculum (major course work) for bachelor of
accounting. In fact, for native accounting majors, master of accounting is
their second chances for on-campus recruitment if they don't have decent job
offers upon graduation for the bachelor degree.

accounting firms 也不会把这些学校当成audit/tax 的target school。这些top
schools也就不会侧重于accounting curriculum。
试试反过来说，也可能是top schools 希望它们的毕业生都去做”elite jobs", 就不侧重于accounting curriculum。 |

不管什么专业，只要读了，听老板的话，让怎么做论文就怎么做论文，就都挺好毕业的。
接下来是比较啰嗦的话了：
其实你给的信息不多，她个人的定位也不准。读什么还是结合下自己的职业规划和对自
身的定位比较好。
教育专业好申请，好毕业的，很难拿奖，没奖自己负担的话，何必读教育呢？除非是真
的有兴趣，铁了心的要从事这方面的职业，否则将来回报（金钱方面的）很少。
她说要在大学教中文。什么样的大学？什么样的教法？
如果是想做tenure-track的faculty，然后教中文，这个只有一条路，申请专业及综合
排名靠前的相关学校的专业，读phd，否则将来申tenure-track的faculty 希望不大。
如果要走tenure-track faculty这条路，research必然要占很大比例，你的朋友只说想
教中文，没说有没有兴趣和基础能力等做research，拼tenure，如果只想教书，不想做
research，那么就不要做tenure-track的打算了。
接下来说如果兴趣只是teaching的话，如果在乎将来工作的学校，那么还是有一些机会

一下。谢谢大家！我的情况是英语本科毕业，硕士读的是翻译，然后在大学教过四年半
的英语，目前在考虑三个专业，TESOL，curriculum方面，和quantitative方面。TESOL
应该是最适合我的背景的，而且我也挺感兴趣，但是我总觉得在美国教英语怕是竞争不
过美国人。Curriculum我也有点兴趣，据说也比较好找工作，但是好像和
administration有关，不知道是不是适合管理人员来读。quantitative工作比较好找，
但是对数学和计算机要求比较高，我怕不行，而且我也不太感兴趣。以上就是我的想法
，请大家给点建议吧。 |

我目前还没有转成功，只是和本校教育系老师联系说先选他们的课，下学期转也可以。
如果重新申请一个学校，我现在只能退学回国重新申请啊，这样岂不是更折腾呢？我们
学校没有那种master和credential结合的那种学位，读完master以后还得再花一年时间
读credential的课程才能拿资格证。我选择TESOL倒也不是说多么感兴趣，因为实在不
知道选什么，这个还比较和我本科对口。还有一个学位是教育系的MASTER，MA Degree
