说没事，不用他们派人到现场看了，可以帮我省500刀。。。后来还给我发email画了比
较详细的图给我解释，下面是email的一部分。Inspector和这个professional的
structral engineer都说是shrinkage crack，看来不信都不信了，打算出手了。。。

应的cracks. basement的Crack两侧有干的水迹。明天close，想让seller负责修理或是

原因，说肯定以前就有small crack，所以才导致大crack. 说这样不在保修范围。我没
觉得以前有small crack。仔细看了一下，还是没看出来小crack。dealer 让周一去，
请问到时如何argue如果dealer 坚持说某点是crack。

all the way to the ground.
My inspector told me
"This is a typical crack in the concrete. Concrete has water ,sand, Portland
cement and stone. When the water evaporates during the curing process the
concrete shrinks and cracks. All foundations crack. It may be a problem when
wall cracks are greater then a ¼ inch, have deflection, travel
horizontal, are in a v pattern on an outside corner or water is leaking
through. |

also 8" in that direction. I stayed in a quite high profile condo earlier
this year in Colorado and I see similar cracks in the room in longer beams.
Such cracks should be natural for such an old house. It is possible to add
steel plates to reinforce the cracked portion of the beam to add its

情况：
91年建的房子，slab foundation. 7年前Owner把gutter去了。现在garage有
settlement,garage墙上有一裂缝 (<1/4"shifting, 不仅仅是cracking).garage地上还
有其他几处cracking。10年前做了一个piering。现需加两个piering。garage上方
attic有3个carcked rafter. Dinning roof上方有1个cracked rafter。Dinning room
和garage几乎挨着。房子近半窗户都很难关上，pocket door几乎都stick.
房子其他状况都近乎理想。
价格：
我自己估计，如果没有foundation问题的话，该房子现在出价低于市场价约$10K.现在
我们想bail,但卖家很愿意进一步谈判，希望我们再考虑考虑。我们该砍多少价格会物
有所值（在seller修好所有inspection毛病的基础上）？我们是第一个出offer的。房
子上市当天就出了offer。

前几天还上来问了stucco问题，因为seller去年自己做了个"primarily visual, not
invasive" stucco inspection,所以有个report，上面说stucco cracks不是什么大问
题，很多是因为窗户没装好。然后seller重新装了窗户，并且想今年春天等天气好点的
时候来修这些cracks。
因为自己对stucco crack不是很懂，以为repaint后就会没事了。所以拿到seller提供
的stucco report和他们做的一个stucco repaint quota之后就下了offer。
今天去做了home inspection，发现好多cracks啊，除了窗户边上之外，其它地方，比
如挨着地面的墙也有好多，cracks横的也有，竖的也有。home inspector还说有空空的
响。多怪自己当时光顾着看房子里面，忽视了外面。房子里面倒是没什么问题。
seller已经给我们5000的credit来做这个repaint，现在担心，这些根本不是repaint能
解决的问题。

标 题: 求助， 挡风玻璃裂了，dealer 觉得不是质量问题。

早上起来，天气太冷， 挡风玻璃上有厚厚一层冰。 开热风吹，吹了一会儿，5分钟不
到吧，听见有知啦一声，好象啥裂了。等玻璃清理干净，发现挡风玻璃上有一裂纹。从
上到下，但两端还没有到边框。 打电话给hyundai service center,人家说不是车质量
原因，说肯定以前就有small crack，所以才导致大crack. 说这样不在保修范围。我没
觉得以前有small crack。仔细看了一下，还是没看出来小crack。dealer 让周一去，
请问到时如何argue如果dealer 坚持说某点是crack。
我的车是07年的hyundai sonata， 3万5 迈不到。 |

这类公司，我也没来得及投他们，本来打算再练习一阵，结果面了一个就成了。还没有
从，上来发个感想，针对在找工的同学尤其是想转码工的，但是又没有 cs 背景的同学
写一点。
客观背景：
生物来美八年在一个二三流学校挨着了地，其间无休学，无 paper，无实习。 从本科
算起无工作经验， 也没上过 cs 或者是工程学院的课程，出来以后生物算文理，跨院
修课有麻烦 （本科曾有机会修计算机双学位，因为听从师兄师姐建议要学好生物就没
有修，挺后悔的，有 cs 学位无论出国还是找工都要好很多。）

比如原来精度是2MOA，打了一万发后还是2MOA，那么寿命至少有一万发。
chrome lined的AR15的枪管寿命一般是最少7000发，一般在一万发以上。
auto dump会加快精度的降低。
