hazard. There is no index for that, haha.
For example, in Pacific NW, the course here normally have a lot of trees,
very hard sand traps and muddy. So, To me, because I play those a lot. I may
not concern those more than a guy from Arizona where the course is totally
different "style".
Man, we need to work on our 'Mental' part. That's the heart of golf.

sightseeing and excellent customer service that you can only receive from
private country clubs.
The course design is also great. It's good for bogey or better golfers
because fairway is a little bit tough. If you don't hit on fairway, you may
not find the ball. So, you'd better prepare more balls if you decide to play
there.

it is hard course. well, you only carry 4H, can easily get +8

with breakfast. not bad.
there is no one ahead of me or behind me till #16, feel like my own private
backyard.
course: standard muni course, with tree line on both side of fairway,
fairway, as name indicated, fair way. green was ok, not much gimmick. didnt
play sand. not many hazardous, just be aware of tree lines. there are waters
, but didnt get into play.
two par5 are interesting:
#14 563 par5 (blue tee), long, but fa |

backnine is ok la.
#11 fairway is turning dramatically, like 90 degree. i realized it after i
tee off, and walk along the fairway. prior knowledge of course would help
for #11, #14, #18.
the rest are just typical muni course par4.
par3 is 20x and 220yard or so. but i guess disttance is not an issue for
you
have easier next shot.
play last time at backnine. will go there for an revenge sometime later. |

Friday. Can you recommend a few fun courses with good elevation changes (
don't want the same old flat land like Houston courses).
Played Falconhead before.
I am considering Shadow Glen.
Star Ranch looks kind of flat in their photos.
How about Circle C ?

on a course, take more balls with you, and play your first game. If you don
't drive the ball long, less than 150 yards, you may try to play on an all
par 3 short course. |

发帖数: 1656 | 12 One trick I find useful to me is to give myself 口诀 when playing on course.
The 口诀 is part of my pre-shot routine.
On range, I hit with almost the same context(lie, angle, target etc) in
every stroke so it is easy to get in a roll and just repeat.
On course, each stroke is different, so I need to consciously remind myself
what the correct action should be.
Such 口诀 is particularly useful on drives ... since the conditions do not
change too much.

on this. force you to think not miss to left, not too short, not too long
etc.
My more useful tip is say to my self "relax and tempo". fell the relax on
your arms with no tension at all. also focus on the backswing. On course we
intended to shorten the backswing and rush. So, think about tempo - slower
helps. |

也很方便。driver swing 对很多amateur 来说是个baby, 格外需要照顾, 否则很容易

path出去，上到course最rolling的部分。
由于周三周四穿新鞋跑的太high了，右脚踝有点痛，所以今天还是穿旧鞋跑。很明显身
体还没有从周四的medium long中恢复过来，加上hilly course，跑的很不轻松。good
news，没有上不去的坡，只有加不上去的速；上坡之后大多是下坡，不是一个又一个的
上坡；平均心率不超过85%。

miles has some quick drop and tough hills with combined 250 feet drop, that
will be a challenge to stay put and not over speed. The following 5 miles
have some mild rolling hills and drops. The road feels narrow for the first
10 miles. The next 6 miles are my favorite, it goes through the town of
Natic, Wesley and Newton. These towns are charming, even in this frigid
