发帖数: 1093 | 1 虽然已经做了决定，还是想来版上吐槽一下，就当树洞，记录下整个过程吧。
希望不要引起姐妹们反感，其实我也不是很祥林嫂，大部分时间我还是挺乐观的。
因为我的OB只有周一接诊，上周二做完大B超，只见了genetic counselor。B超结果是
左手左脚显示不清，可能是并指。genetic counselor的意见就是，根据现在的结果不
能做出任何的结论，因为胎儿还太小，要等到孩子更大一些才看得清。做B超的时候，
LD一直守在旁边，他说，是宝宝不配合，所以不给机会让医生看清，“等到19周再做B
超的时候，肯定五个手指全张开了。”
我还是很担心，因为之前严重的水肿和后背的水瘤，我觉得不可能就完全不留痕迹地消
失了。但是看到LD挺乐观的，我也就慢慢开心起来了，也决心不想坏的可能性，只顺其
自然吧。
昨天又是去见OB的时间。
一般例行检查的顺序是，先是医生的助手来，分析两次接诊之间的一些检查的结果，听
胎心，量血压什么的，然后医生才来。
开始我听到了宝宝有力的心跳，好像在努力地展示他在顽强地与命运抗争，努力地想活
下来。我心里说不出的滋味。

My son is at a public school Kindergarten. The teacher said he is lack of
social skill to make friends, but he does want to be part of the group
activity, so he end up sometimes hitting others, etc. to get attention. The
teacher proposed to have him attend school counselor class, once a week, 4
kids per class. Currently they have 2 classes for Kindergartener in that

是个孩子能得益的东西啊，可惜不是每个孩子都有机会去:)
书本上讲的，一定要有机会拿到生活中用，才能变成孩子自己的能力

我先说我，马上就要拿到master了，一直在一个non-profit organization作intern
counselor. 算来也有两年的经验了，我两年多前来美国读硕士的，工作时最大的障碍
是口语，现在好些，因为天天和客户聊，但毕竟english is the second language，
有时还是struggle在counseling session 中用词的问题。
本想读博士，但现在还不清楚自己喜欢什么领域，觉得自己还是先做着counslor，所以
下一个目标是Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

己的说辞，这个版不是法庭，版主不是法官。大家都是成年人，应该对自己的说话做事
负责任，而且对于当事双方的阐述能有个判断。
首先要说明的是career counselor不是猎头或者公司的HR，他们的主要责任只是告诉找
工作的技巧，帮你修改简历，cover letter之类的。我就说下我用过的这类服务，其中
有收费，也有免费的。
最早的是一个教会里提供的，开了20迈过去。里面都是些volunteer，虽然有些是P&G之
类大公司的，但是都不是hr，而且很明显，他们根本不知道怎么帮我找工作。先是跟一
个阿姨聊了会，说了我的背景和要求，然后她就说有个更能帮助我的人，然后就找来了
这个P&G里做技术的大叔。大叔听了我重复一遍的描述之后就开始帮我在careerbuilder
.com上搜索我的职位。然后找到了几个在上海的工作，都是技术类的，或者管理类的。
跟我实际的要求和想法大相径庭。在他磨叽了2个多小时之后，我终于知道应该放弃了
，然后起身准备离开，环望四周，都是些老墨和领救济的白人在跟他们咨询。幸亏是免

有待提高。
但是我就不知道版上活跃的几位到底想怎么处理她？删贴封ID？人家换个马甲继续跳。
置顶骗子帖？好像她也就是业务不精，忽悠人而已，要拿什么法律来定她的诈骗罪也谈
不上吧。继续封杀她，看见她的帖子就出来骂？我想大家也都吃饱了不会这么闲的。而
且这个版也就是个帖消息的地方，我又不拿mitbbs的工资，你们有什么资格来指使我做

没有人说counselor都是骗子,但是noriko/justice0在很多人看来是.所有反对的声音都
从这个版消失,怎么也该有个说法.
这里当然有很多3,40岁拖家带口历经沧桑的成年人,也有23,4岁从来没见过社会的小朋
友.这个骗子是能宰一个是一个,宰不到也让人恶心半天.在隔壁版混不下去了跑到这里

PS: 美国的genetic counselor只要过一个Master of Science Degree in genetic
counseling，然后再认证一下，专业素质比OB差太多了，考察的重点是重大遗传疾病（
脑部缺陷很可能不是遗传性的），工作方法以counseling为主，即建议和安慰，工作责
任也比OB小很多很多。

也三十六岁了。
另外，第一次12周B超的时候，结果是项背部厚，而且有空隙。(genetic counselor说
应该是黑色，而我的宝宝是灰色，还有白色空隙)。
所以，当时她就表示，根据目前的数据，我的可能是最坏的情况。 |

这个我并不知道，不过，我觉得，毕竟OB临床经验多一些，所以更相信OB的经验，可能

发帖数: 2610 | 31 换到一个新学区上一年级。今天要做测试。我在外面提心吊胆担心她英语听说过不了关
，要补课或者是留级啥的。结果测试完了，counselor先是几个“哇哦”感叹词，接着
说，你的孩子是gifted，并且是natually的那种有天分的。说见过无数孩子，很有经验
。然后还给我跟她爹几个大拥抱。
不过她说经费有限要到3年级才有gifted program。但是会让老师一对一教导她，希望
不要埋没她的天分。
女儿肯定是聪明的，但是觉得老美说话还是挺夸张的。我跟她爹现在患得患失，害怕期

我说大家都说ｂａｙ ａｒｅａ 不一样， 南湾已经开始回升了，他说大家说了不算

you are super rich. They want your money/commission. They don't want you
to spend all your money in a house and nothing left to invest. Now is a

opinion.
5% is not a small sum in Bay area, that could easily be 40K! We don't have

this morning to check the rental prices in the area and found out that a 3bd
/2ba house is renting for $2900 in my area, but similar houses sells for 1
million ! The owners must have bought long long time ago. I do think
prices for those million $ houses are coming down - in recent sales, sale
prices have been reduce 100K+ for several 1,200K range houses. I couldn't

Some high-income folks are still renting,just like the FB founder. but some
others work very hard to own a house. One of my co-worker has only one car
for a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids ), watch out every penny they spend,
but they are proud to be a home owner.

I was trained as a mental health counselor so my credential reflects my area
of practice.Rehab counseling has a different board taking care of credential/
license, you need to check out with your state board for eligibility . Pass
the exam is not enough for license I belive you need to have certain amount of
supervised working hours (workhours varies from state to state)as well as
credit hours from a CRCC(in your case)accredited prgram to be eligible for
credential.

student. 你现在不是了？能说说你对这行的看法吗？我刚开始读一个part time的master
。分school counseling and community counseling。越来越不想上了。我倒不怕现在读
书辛苦， 就是感觉将来即使找到工作了，也会是个挫败感强的工作。由于文化的差异及
语言的障碍，我预感我将是永远都没有胜任这个工作的感觉，而这种胜任自己工作感觉正
是我想工作的最主要动力之一。我没有太大野心在工作上，只要能做好自己的本职工作就
能让我满足。现在非常非常烦恼，不知道该怎么半，我们这里没有别的专业的硕士课程，
这个小地方只有我们这个州力大学的极小分校和一个社区大学。
