snow shelters. We climbed Crescent Moon Coulior on Sunday. One of us
descended from west ridge and two of us "skied" down. Too bad that I got my
skies released on the 1st turn and had to down climb all the way to the exit
of the Coulior to recover my skis. The good thing was I didn't fall a lot
before stopping, thanks to the snow condition. |

那天除了我们两个还有一对也从coulior滑下去。他们特意把binding调紧预防release
。他们说在这个地方release比较危险。我AT用的din和apline一样，感觉的确比较松，
加上背包的重量，这个din无法处理这个地形。或者应该加leash。因为brake在这里没
多大用。还有就是陡坡跳转功力不行。
88上到7000ft左右还是有雪。8000Ft以上公路边有雪墙。 |

必须有两个条件：
1、雪况好，粉雪
2、安全，fall safe。你们可能会觉得惊讶，这么窄这么陡，怎么能说安全呢？其实这
个和所有ski porn里出现过的couloir一样，不管如何它得是直的，底下有一个渐缓的
apron，而不是cliff out
真说滑雪不要命的话，有些“普通人”比pro变态多了，好歹这些玩意对pro来说不过是
饭碗罢了，对有些人来说却是不作死不舒服。对于pro来说，目的是拍几分钟漂亮的视
频，对于有些人来说，是为了完成壮举、first descent，以自己命名一条line
JH的corbet coulior看起来凶险，但是冲下去需要的是一种和平时滑雪没有关系的能力
。很多滑雪场也有这样90度的cornice，一般没这么深罢了。如果有人以corbet
coulior为目标，可以专门练冲90度坡。 |

degree snow slope. The area I wanted to avoid was the hanging snow field in the skier's left, which ended up to a rocky cliff.
