主申请人申请I140就得了，只要在I140表上填上配偶的名字就行了。
申请I－485的时候，配偶一起申请（两份申请）。
I-
“follow to join”是指主申请人拿到绿卡前已婚，其配偶可以在主申请人拿到卡后申
请follow to join的吧。 |

当初跟律师商量，感觉我的case很一般，决定不pp。反正140和485的处理时间都差不多
4-6个月，让这两条线平行前进。
现在看来大家都在pp，io们大概也没有精力管那些non-pp了。
纠结是否应该补一个pp，可是485都交了，担心有个万一。

Generally these people will not file 485 concurrently with 140. They will
wait for the result of 140 and then submit 485 if 140 is approved (in around
2 weeks), so they will not pay too much.
However, these people pay more than 485+non-pp 140 even their cases are
declined. But they know results sooner. |

泡着。现在王太太可以拿着 EAD 又去挣钱了。即使 485 拒了，王同学没用 EAD 还是

我的情况主要是这个情况， 申请EAD主要是为配偶能马上工作
这么说的话， 也可以concurrent， 万一485悲剧
主申请人没有用EAD, 只有副申请人用了

外面律师说140平均要8个月，485大概4个月。 想着要不要pp140。 外面的律师说可以
，会加快最终拿绿卡的进程，而且说根据他们的经验PP和不PP对审批过程没有影响。
可是学校的律师很反对PP，说concurrent filing会比单独file140处理的快 （这种说
法对吗？），PP没有意义， 而且容易RFE或者Deny
想问问大家的看法

如果140PP和485同时file,140去了TSC,然后485得去某个lock box,需要2-3周receipt,
等485拿到receipt时140PP都批了处理完了.怎么可能达到485和140同时处理以加速485?
另外我是2月1日485 deliver到Phoenix lock box,公司律师只给了fedex tracking
number...到现在也没收到receipt. 版上有类似时间的人收到receipt了吗?

要马上换工作，只希望早点批了省得记挂着这件事。另外，如果现在cocurrent file我

一个时间概念。因为我也和很多同学一样在等待的日子心急如焚。经常在这里看帖，心
想比准后能给大家的回馈就是提供一些自己的经历和信息。本人是首次这里发贴。
申请的过程是这样的：
09/02/11（PD): 140，485和EAD申请同时递交；
09/15/11 FP notice;
10/06/11 FP appointment;
11/09/11 EAD card issued;
02/16/12 140 RFE for offer letter and company's financial status;
3/12/12 RFE document submitted;
3/15/12 140 approval notice;
我的140在律师的建议下只claim两条：contribution and review. 尽管发表的文章和
引用也有，但以中文为主。我把材料都准备了，但律师在PL里只是提到而已，如何提供
的我不是很清楚。在准备绿卡申请前的那些日子，我认识到只有这两项是可以在有限的
