沉痛怀念杨惠涛博士
Yesterday at 1:57pm Dr. Yang died in a car accident, Sunday, 01.14.200
7, when his car skidded out of control on Interstate 35 and hit a concr
ete bridge pillar near Clear Lake, Iowa.
Dr. Yang obtained his second Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering, TAMU
in August, 2006, at the same time, he joined the Trane Co.

发帖数: 276 | 10 我是今年毕业大潮中的一个，由于自己能力有限及专业（非CE）不火，被大潮拍在了沙
滩上！找了个top 10 的civil读书，structural option（目前自费，phd，但是可以转
MS走人）。看了这很多帖子，基本感觉是，想进工业界完全没需要phd,所以我比较倾向
拿个ms走人。不过想到找工作，头又很疼，去年找工作的经验是，一定要多懂，多会，
知道现在大家都用什么软件，否则research做的再好也没人要，因为人家不要你做
research.
而且明显感觉坐在办公室，用电脑分析的工作要比实验室工作多得多，因为很少有工业
界有仪器去做实验，大部分都是分析。
综合以上经验教训，我给自己定了个一年计划，决定一年后一定要找到工作，在这里和
大家讨论一下，希望大家给看看，毕竟我是土木新手，对工作市场不是很熟悉
