too much sense, as some one has to take over RIMM's market share.
but it could be the case that institutional money thinks the compeition will
heat up, rivals like HTC or Samsung, everyone cuts prices, and this could
lower the margin, just like what happended in airline industry.
Plus lots of headwinds down the road, at least before Labor Day. |

iPAD uses commodity hardware. Weight even battery life won't be the
differenciator once compeition becomes intense in this area.
Don't get me wrong, iPad is a great product. I and thinkg of buying one. But
MS has all the stenght it needs to catch up, IF AND ONLY IF with the right
leadership.

means there're enough people in town who're doing it. how far is it from
atlanta? there're quite a few teachers based there.
american style is more popular in the mid-west and south. you just need a bit
more efforts to find the right studio and right teacher. you need to find
these first before you can find a partner. like other people have suggested, i

but what I meant to say is that the reason that the very small number of
competitors in the pro/am compeitions is due to the high price tag. I
belive events like MAC has a magnitute more number of competitors comparing
with the pro/am competitions.

lesson is too easy for me (bso....) ha. last time i was about to practice
for compeition then i gave up. the rate is about 90-100/hour depending on
how good the instructor is (quotes from my studio) |

programming方面为例，列举几个看到的网站和现象。自己只是初学者，观察的不准确
的地方或者说错的地方欢迎指正
kaggle算是做的比较有影响的，通过competition拿奖金或者公司招人，似乎之前还有
几个公司的compeition，现在比较少了，要么是学术性的会议competition放到kaggle
平台，要么是某些教育性的练习，还有的是某些公司自己遇到的问题，可是感觉提供的
数据信息太少，它可能是怕泄露机密，但就给一堆没名字的feature然后去预测click
through真的可以？如果比较简单能做出来，也不用贴出来悬赏了吧？
有些competition的leader成绩很好，进去一看是deep learning的phd们，感觉是专业
队员到业余俱乐部炫耀一下顺便做个广告的。还有不少参加者就是machine learning的
phd在读学生。
有一类网站是作为contractor中介，注册你的专业特长和hourly rate，公司悬赏项目
