子呢？如果能这么做，packing slip上的barcode岂不是要贴好几个在箱子上？（总共
需要三个箱子，寄不同地址）

By law，加州婚后工资之类的都是community property。你选择不是，就得签正式的
separate property agreement，然后就要keep the money separate，一旦commingle
又变成community property。用separate money支付community property费用就是
commingle之一。然后离婚的时候就更有意思了。
我之所以回这个贴，是觉得这样一点不懂法律，就自己瞎琢磨省税，太naive。
还有，如果都填对了的话，MFS大多数情况下都比MFJ多交税。 |

accounts.
If your income exceeds certain limits (I think ~$180k for family), you won't
be able to directly contribute to Roth IRA and will need to use backdoor
Roth. In that backdoor conversion process, if you have any other traditional
IRA accounts, they will get prorated into tax calculation.

和我说是合法，有agent和我说不合法，我自己又看不懂这个law code，请问白胖的意
见，或者你们去上课续牌的时候问老师也好。
华人买卖，我知道买了房子之后很多agent会给一个红包，其实也算是rebate，不算新
鲜事，都是意思意思。老外agent做了那么久，他们不知道？如果这个方法可以为自己
带来巨大利益，按理来说应该会是行业标准啊，不懂不懂。
