发帖数: 754 | 29 As I read the information on mitbbs, if you use the EAD/AP you only need to show them the CARD/AP approval (Certainly bring the I-485 receipt would be good in case they wanna see that too), but you will lose H1B visa after you getting back to US. Otherwise, if you use H1B, you need to apply for a visa at the embassy to get back to US and you still maintain your H1B visa status.The attorney usually suggests to maintain H1B for security reason in case the I-485 is rejects (rare though) |

H1-B，485 pending，有EAD/AP Combo卡。
离开美国的时候，在登机口问了航班的工作人员，被告知在登机前半个小时会通过喇叭呼叫大家交I-94卡。等他通知的时候，一些同飞机的人排队递交I-94卡。我的一个同事说他好像在托运行李的时候就把I-94给机场工作人员了。你可以在托运的时候问问在哪提交I-94卡。
2011年8月30号我从委内瑞拉返回美国。
在委内瑞拉过安检、登机的时候，均被大陆航空工作人员和委内瑞拉安检人员要求出示
有效签证，我给他们解释，他们又去找他们的领导核实，被认可，没有问题，只是时间
略有点长（大概5分钟）。
飞机上填I-94卡的时候，我问空姐，她说我这种情况不需要I-94，但为了保险，还是给
了我一张，我就填了，但把关于签证地点、日期的地方空着。
入境休斯敦的时候，入关的美国人没见过这个Combo卡，问我从哪得到的，我说是USCIS
邮寄的。他向我要其它材料，我说没有了（当时忘了给他I-94的填表了）。我于是被领

month, she was asked to apply ESTA at airport. It was not complicated but
just applied online and pay $1x, and then the airline can verify and check
her in.
The case mentioned by above post sounds a little bit different, and he/she
returned to USA through 3rd county but not directly from China. So, I'm not
sure if that makes any difference.

看来北京边防还是没有收到通知， 我觉得估计还得有些日子这个照会才会在北京生效。
边防的人比较官僚，而且态度很差。那个边防的电话尤其恶劣，估计也被烦死
大家如果近几天要走，还是走上海或者别的地方比较安全。我LD今天（21）被迫去签证
，也通过了，而且大使馆给予加急处理，明天就可以拿到，因为今天3点才从机场赶到
大使馆。
我预约签证是明天，最初留了个后招，预约了签证，以防北京边防这帮孙子不放我们。
具体情况我会尽量尽快更新， 给大家一些信息。
希望那个照会尽快生效，xdjm也不用像我这般折腾。
