应该能在好学区买一个非常不错的房子，一般好学区的房子也就20万左右。说是农村因
为columbia是个很小的城市，公共交通不发达，中国人也不多，一共有两家华人超市，
都不大，这边的mall也比较小，好牌子不多。如果想去大的mall或者华人超市，最近的
需要开车去charlotte，大概1个半小时左右。税前10万在columbia算很高的工资了，：

两个人工作，应该有100K。Columbia的房子价格不贵，20万就过得去了,30万就非常好
了。
感觉好的学区是Irmo和Lexington，但是不知道哪个好。希望找中国人多一点的区。中
国孩子在白人绝对优势的学校上学会受到欺负多一些。不知道南卡大学的中国FACULTY
都在什么地方买房。公司做的中国人似乎不多，也分散。有知道的前辈写点信息。谢谢！ |

问下大家有什么比较省钱的交通方法吗？
1 开车太远了，要8小时。
2 飞机去Columbia SC几乎都要转机。便宜的Southwest只到Charleston和Greenville。
哎。。。
3 巴士几乎没有。
4 火车要11个小时而且要100刀。

育用的，相比之下，upenn是真正的美国大学program. 而且upenn那环境比columbia小
资多了。哥伦比亚那屁大点地方，附近连家像样的饭店都找不到，如果upenn是
starbucks的话，那columbia就是dunkin donut.
dunkin donut的好处是，量足，快，能填饱肚子，10 months program就是这意思。

都可以去。有时有coupon会省些会员费，别忘了问问。
Life time fitness也开了一家在columbia gateway drive,看上去更大更漂亮。但只有

maryland, the Africa in the heart of US.
Better stay in columbia/ellicott city area, never goes even near 695. You
pay what you get, you will understand when you move in. Blacks on the
street, mice in the room, paper thin wall.... The 2nd option is glen burnie
(south of rt 100 area), that's a cheaper and convenient area comparing to
columbia, and much much safer than downtown.
