看到前面一帖子，5岁孩子好奇人类的起源，妈妈说不清楚，然后有些回帖质疑进化论。
忍不住另外开一贴说几句，
科学的方法保证了科学理论是现有的人类目前为止对客观世界最好的描述的合集。
这特殊的地位是至关重要的。
所谓相信科学，不是相信某某科学理论永恒正确绝对真理，
相信科学是相信科学的方法确保了科学理论是人类目前对客观世界最好的描述，
所以会相信科学理论比任何不经检验或者与检验结果相悖的说法都更正确。
孩子们对于自己好奇的问题，deserve被告知现有科学理论对这个问题的回答，以及
为什么这个回答被科学界认可，并不妨碍孩子们有挑战该理论的想法。其实也只有
给了孩子正确科学方法的启蒙，孩子以后才可能真正有可能去挑战现有的科学理论。
聪明好奇的孩子本不deserve被告知现有的某科学理论（有大量证据支持的理论）
与任何别的流派号称的未经检验的说法没区别。

知名度之前，她的学校的成功故事早在1979年就被CBS的60Minutes 专题报道过。在开
办自己的学校以前，Marva Collins 在公立学校也教了14年的书。
另外，也许在我们国内来的人眼里， Secretary of Department of Education 是联邦
政府的职位，应该是国家级的“大官” 吧。不过，按照美国宪法，联邦政府无权直接
干涉各州的教育事务和政策，所以依法来说这个Secretary 的实权并不大。（当然，近
十年的实际情形似乎并非如此。） |

have 6 friend families live there for more than 10-30 years. Their general
opinion is the elementary shools there are really really balanced. If you
have to rank them, Harrison and Mout pleasent are the best, based on how
they and
their children feel. then collins, hillside and riker hill. 3 out of the 6
families actually live in collins district.

辆承载23人乘客由康州快活大赌场（FOXWOOD CASINO）开往皇后区法拉盛的赌场巴士在

巴士被毁，车上包括司机在内的24人受伤，5人重伤，所有乘客均为华裔。而巴士司机

koolaid，greyhound，screwdriver，seebreeze,zombie，sling，tequila sunrise，long island iced tea， godfather， bluelagoon，今天起来有点头痛，不过玩得还是很开心，还碰到一群漂亮的韩国妹妹，感觉大家一晚上一直在喝酒、跳舞和笑，到2点关门时还意犹未尽，一周来的压力一下都释放了，下周又可以好好上班了，只是最近好象club人气不是很火爆，是不是刚过新年的原因呢？ |

Gate or Lincoln），另一部分去Cupertino High (小学是Collins or Eaton）。

现在校园内Student Union里面有一个小餐厅(Cafeteria)和一个Pub，很多地方有一台
微波炉，可带便当在那里加热。有些系馆内也有微波炉。
校园附近也有各式快餐，如麦当勞(McDonald's)，汉堡王(Burger King)，肯德基(KFC)
,Jack in Box，Taco Bell, 必胜客(Pizza Hut)，德州炸鸡(Church's Fried Chicken)
，。
Richardson 的餐馆种类极多，中国餐厅也很多。
自己做饭厌了，可以到团契享受免费中式晚餐
