bike. The shop may not lie to you. It depends on chain stay length, also on
number of front large chain ring tooth and rear large cog tooth. Two of my
bike chains use 106 links and another one uses 108 links.

发帖数: 1992 | 4 原来的Force RD是short cage, 没有32的capacity. 这个我是试过的，无论怎么调B螺丝，那个pully wheel总会碰到32T，所以根本没法用。Apex RD 和Rival RD现在都用midcage的 option, 都可以上32T。12-32的平路会好点吧，小的几个cog之间间隔没那么大。不过我买的时候没看着有。
那个前50后32调不顺的原因似乎是前后derailiuer的夹角问题。在那个状态下，pully wheel离前面的chainring太近了，导致链条与frame之间形成一个很大的夹角，以至链条无法完全套进pully wheel的齿轮里。这个问题其实在前50后28的情况下也有，但是后来放松了B螺丝以后就没问题了。但是前50后32还是不行。我看了下，唯一可以解决的办法是把链条加长一节，但是这样的话前34后11的combo就会有问题。(也许这是为什么你建议12-32的原因?)

lubricant that is dry enough and bonds to metal thus increase the chain life
by a lot. wax is dry but not a good lube. other oils are good lubes but is
too wet.
but you should avoid degreaser as much as possible because it creases
problem with metal to oil bond. this bond ensures the oil not completely
squeezed out from metal to metal friction. you can use degreeser hopefully

Kings Mountain and Tunitas Creek.
And there are a number of small climbs along Skyline and Stage Rd. The route
is very tough for a new rider. If
you have not ridden a big climb before, I'll strongly recommend you riding a
big hill (>1000 feet elevation
change) before the actual event. The experience will help you pace yourself.

. I suspect the frame is damaged.
Anyhow, I might need to build a new one, more for fun, less for riding. All
wheels I can find are either high end track wheels (narrow rims, not
suitable for urban commute, too expensive) or really cheap ones. I'm
considering building my own. How hard is it if I haven't done it before. I'm
quite handy. |

force RD is such a short cage that it doesn't have the capacity for 44x28,
but that's ok.
9 spd chain has the same inner width with 10spd. Outer width is slightly
thicker but should not causing problem. It's not rubbing against the
adjacent cogs at all. |

有速度。
还有一个问题，我的车后变速发力蹬的时候会skip/slip。这个问题只有在中间的几个
gear上才会出现，特别是gear 4和5（一共有8个），在高速（最小的cog）gear上就没
有这个问题。另外，不加力时也没问题，所以在repair stand上很难调整。我的变速是
Shimano Alivio。大家知道怎么调整吗？以前没这毛病，送到店里check-up之后反而
有了。 |

. tianyu給的calculator(39-15,cadence 100可以达到20.32mph).

be careful.
in general fixed gear would be faster because the pedal momentum will help
you when climbing up hills. You can always unclip when coasting downhill.
but riding ss freewheel is definitely more comfortable.

前面小輪後面大輪就是檔位最低的時候了，你說還有前面大輪後面某個輪也響，聽起來
就是沒有調好
不過首先我懷疑的是為啥買來的時候就這樣？這個東西很很好調的，店裡的技師沒有理
由不把它弄好 （弄這個最好有bike work stand)
下面是調rear derailleur 的程序
1）保證你的rear derailleur是好的，保證deraileur hanger沒有彎
2）我假設你的車的rear derailleur是“正常”的，（大多數是這種），就是金屬絲沒
有拉力的時候，檔位最高（最小輪），否則一下步驟要反起來（高==》低，大盤==》小
盤）
a)掛最高檔位 （前大後小），確定這個時候金屬絲沒有拉力，調整high limit screw
使得rear derailleur與最小輪對齊 （用眼睛仔細看）
--從你說的情況，這個應該已經對了
b)保持其他不變，嘗試將檔位在後面調低一檔，然後重新調到最高。（或者兩黨）調整
金屬絲的拉力，確定兩個方向換檔都順利 （如果換高檔不暢，就是太緊，換低檔不暢

现在看上LBS的Trek cobia 2012款，这个价格合适不?1200刀.这个价位附近的车,其他
的连review都没有,这个还有12个review，貌似很畅销的样子。 大家说前叉不错,空气
的Rockshox.变速系统是SRAM X5。其他的看不大懂。问LBS最近有没promotion，说要明
年二月。这现在想骑着玩啊。
自己是新人。夏天曾经捡了个硬叉山地，骑了1个多月，还骑过一次50KM。借朋友的一
辆300多的Fuji硬尾山地，又骑了个多月。上瘾了。早两天LBS骑了两款29er，更是觉得
爽的不行。跳台阶跳坡太好玩了。

首先从大的方面来说，这个老师的teaching philosophy比较倾向于natural swing,。也
就是说：
1. 他不喜欢stack&tilt, 也不支持那些过度强调hip rotation或者COG shift之类的挥
杆。
2. 他认为一个好的挥杆应该是从上身的mid-section启动，也就是肚脐到横膈膜之间这
个位置。set up的时候全身都是放松的，只有这里和相对应的背部有些tension. 他建议
平时就可以联系用这个部位（或者说把意念集中在这个部位），练习左右转身。
Ok, 这个就是他的最核心的swing thought. 接下来是一些细节，和很多书上讲的差不多
。
1. Stance. 他认为170以上的人都不用过分屈膝，而是只要把膝盖骨放松就好了。过度
屈膝会造成back swing时候下盘太死，进而造成重心不好保持稳定。我课后按照他的建
议来做（以前腿部弯曲比较厉害），果然100个practice ball只有1次shank. 而我之前
shank的原因主要是重心迁移。
2. Grip. 他认为不论年龄、习惯，grip都 |

tendency to lean forward (toward right of the target line) and my spine base
shifted forward as well, resulting in a changed hand position at impact.
Today, I focused on keeping my COG a bit on the back part of my feet and
turn hips around the spine. Problem solved. |

1. lateral movement of hips a little too much at the beginning of down swing
. this could cause miss hits because basically it shifts your spine base a l
ittle bit.
2. looks like your COG moves toward target during your back swing and goes b
ack to the right foot during down swing. this may cause you to lose some dis
tance.
I have the same issues and am still working on them. |

including tri bikes. You can choose the frame material from aluminum, steel
and carbon. Shortly put, carbon is light, but not a whole lot, and it's
harder to maneuver at high speed and when it's windy. steel is soft thus
comfy for long and bumpy rides. aluminum is most popular. if you are going
to invest in a full carbon frame, you'd better make sure the drive train and

white mountain现在开始都算旅游好季节，秋天看叶子，冬天滑雪
现在叶子已经红了黄了，当然最棒的季节还是10月份，今年New Hampshire那边的
Foliage Season好像是10月12日左右（至少waterville valley那边是这么说的）
这个酒店非常好，每天可以有免费2小时脚踏车，1小时船，还可以免费打高尔夫球之类
，具体看图片，房间很不错，附近吃喝也方便，冬天的话，旁边就是滑雪场
去过好几次New Hampshire和White Mountain，不过这次是第一次上最高峰Mount
Washington，我是坐小火车COG（号称是全世界第一个景观火车）上去的，沿途风景不
错，顶上没啥好看的，也可以自己开车上去
waterville valley晚餐推荐coyote Grill，周末有现场演出，不过平时会划算很多，
周二two course只要20美刀，但是其他时候一道菜就要25美刀左右，然后周四晚上1美
刀一个生蚝，好开心
