mobile version(keep the flash version for desktop)
shutting flash out is for profits, apple doesn't want you to use apps on web
pages instead of app store, that's understandable. apple will announce ads
platform tomorrow, that's another huge source of profits too. |

二年在实验室做RA，方向FPGA-based high performance system。
Offer来自东北部一家做video codec chip的startup，创业团之前做过3家startup，都
是图
像/video芯片相关，最后都成功卖给大公司。
Offer：salary 50k(忘了问税前还是税后，不过我觉得应该是税后吧？税前50k交完税
剩3000一个

But I think wmp12 is a wonderful HD player, it turns on Hardware video accel
aration automatically. But my finally codecs won't, even I change the setup.

etc.）。
代2GB的内存，电池也还可以，还有一小三脚架。出去玩的时候可以带着给娃们看。
注意只有15流明，不要指望在光线强的环境下使用，做home projector不适合。
偶半年前买的270左右，今天199。
哪位童鞋如果想入手，别忘了用偶下面儿童基金会的链接啊，Amazon会给基金会$8左右。

one. This is not 3D version & 港版广东话＋繁体字幕. 3D version has to wait
until next month. I already converted to movie DVD. If you want
original digital file, it's 1.43GB in size with resolution of 720x400.
1730Kbps in XVID codec with AVI format. I can covert sub to Simpled
Chinese if you want. Bring your flash drive with you to copy.

我觉得Steve Jobs考虑的取舍是有道理的。
一是价位。二是电池。
加了Camera，价位就得上去。买的人就少了。而且Camera
录像的时候肯定得实时在LCD上全屏显示。作为追求完美的
苹果，它是不会允许拍摄时LCD上只显示3吋小窗口的。这个
要求是很高的。连现在很多Camcorder都做不到，因为一般的
codec芯片还达不到能实时encode高分辨率的9吋屏幕的水平。
再说Multitasking。这也牵涉到耗电的问题。Multitasking
的软硬件要求会让电功耗增加很多。也容易出bug。所以苹果
舍去它而换取电池的长时间使用和系统的稳定性是对的。 |

但是装一个webcam不代表就能让你视频。可是真装了
又不给视频自然还是要挨骂。
我说芯片encode功能还不够是从一个专做这个芯片的一个
老印那里听来的。他们公司的芯片就是Samsung Camcorder
里的信号处理芯片。这个东西不是那么容易做的。录像机上的
LCD光是从2.5吋发展到3吋在codec芯片上的要求就是一个飞跃。
那个芯片也不是白给的。任何产品都得有个价位。iPAD在
现有条件下，现有价位下，也只能这样了。至于苹果的利润
最大化，那也是他们自己算出来的。无可厚非。
