Dr.逆风，
快乐医生是社区医院的DEPT椅子，MASHENGLI也算前辈了，而且他们俩都是内科从业
早多年的了，说话大概还是比你有资格和更接近现实，至少比你看的经历的事多多了。
确实，你看到的目前，只是大的ACADEMIC单位的现实，我在UC做科研时的老板--器
官移植外科医生，才拿20万，每日为GRANT和文章挠头。他跟我说，若去挣钱的话拿
75万到一个米没问题，可人家不去，当然，他老婆是放射科医生，有米了。
霍普金斯外科病理主任，那是全世界都闻名的牛头，外面给2个米，人家就是不去，
拿的银子跟俺的才毕业没多久的同行差不多。你比吗？比什么？银子数？那不气死
了？
这完全取决于个人，在大学单位的除极个别外，挣得都比非ACADEMIC少多了，但这是
愿打愿挨的事情。我自己现在也就接近20万吧，比俺同班毕业到公司或PRIVATE GROUP的
少很多，有的是我挣的4倍！我无所谓，时不时有猎头会打电话给我：30万出头，接
不接？俺没兴趣。俺一般就说：有一个米的你再来骚扰我吧--堵回去。
钱，这事到一定程度，就是数字而已，没有本质差别 |

有这一案例，病人死了，责任推来推去,最后CMG倒霉。比较长，
大家如何看这个案子。
Defendants County of Cook and Dr. Chi Du appeal a judgment of the circuit
court of Cook County finding them liable in a medical malpractice case
brought by plaintiff Stanley Spyrka, individually and as independent
administrator of the estate of Dorota Spyrka. The trial court entered the
judgment on a jury verdict of $16,957,310. The trial court denied defendants
' posttrial motion. Defendants now appeal.

I am just starting application (yes I am late). My big concern, just like
any other old CMGs, is the graduation year cut-off. I called lot's of
programs in FM regarding this issue last two days, vast majority of the
programs (based on the answers from coordinators) have 2-5 years graduation
year cut-off. Since the conversation couldn't last long and got into much
details, therefore i have such a question: Is these cut-off strict, and my

我也是个老CMG，距毕业眼看就要16年喽。前两年考过step1，成绩刚过，很不理想。现
在虽然工作收入都不错，但觉得还没试过step2和CS呢,人生还很不完整。想再体会体会
这种“非人”生活。 |

儿，不过和自己付出也比较相称了。因为一直很忙，今天才能分享一下感想，完成心愿
。说是心愿是因为我虽不常来本版，但开始准备考试的时候是在这里看了一些考过的同
学的经验的，我觉得无论是从方法和心理的角度来说，前人的经验对后人都会有所帮助
，希望我的也能如此，并借以回馈医学职业版。
背景：我是国内第一批七年制毕业生，算来已经毕业１５年了，所以是不折不扣的老
CMG，尽管自己一直觉得还年轻，可跟这里大多数同学一比，才知道真的老了，只是希
望到match的时候PD不要想太多。因为从小立志做真正的医生，所以在毕业后尽管同学
一个个出国，我仍不为所动，一直在学校附属医院做外科医生，总住院就当了两轮，工
作得心应手，后来又念了在职博士，可博士毕业后突然觉得没有目标了，当时医疗环境
不如人意，总觉得不快乐。正好美国的同学介绍我这里的一个博士后位置，下了决心就
出来了，我清楚以当时的年龄出来再重新开始，实现梦想要好几年，不过人生奋斗也值
了。到美国后开始果然很艰难，做实验，发文章，办身份，拖拖拉拉一年多前才搞定绿
卡，科研上 |
