Yes those schools claim to be "world class soon" really can't provide some
basic services for students. You have to get friends/relatives/connections
to work with your school on this. Keep in mind the state of California
requires these clerkships:
A. Instruction in the clinical courses shall total a minimum of 72 weeks in
length.

excluding research electives and basic science lectures/labs). Our clerkship
training includes clinical knowledge lectures, conferences, on-site
clinical training, scutwork, and hands-on clinical experiences. To calculate

clerkship time. Some people count both 实习 and 见习 as clerkship to satisfy
those requirements. Not sure 实习 only is enough or not.

this one.
About item 18, in US medical schools we have pre-clinical courses (first two
years) and the rest are counted as clerkship (clinical rotations, sub-
Internships, away rotations, specialty electives excluding research). The
term "internship" is for the first year (in some cases two years) of
residency training.
In your case you may count all clinical training in China as "clerkship" (
not internship), otherwise |

2. 关于clinical supervisor，毕业十年，有些科室的老师都不记得，是否可以笼
统的写医教科的老师。
3. clerkship是否包括实习和见习，这样的话，one clinical discipline可否有两
个医院。

关于老师，你难道没有记分册了吗？我都是找记分册上的老师的名字（很多都记得，就
一两个只记得姓不记得名）。
关于clerkship，咱们的见习实习都是clerkship吧，我记得我是这么搞的，他们也没管
。几个医院都无所谓吧，只要你
把你的见习实习地方明确给出来，时间段是最关键的。

The immunization requirement listed on registra office website is incomplete
for DFCI clerkships. If you get accepted by any DFCI clerkships, please
receive an T-SPOT TB test asap. Otherwise you may be rejected by a DFCI
occupational health official.
This policy is effective since March, 2014 in DFCI.

填写clerkship 当年除了内外妇儿，还有预防医学，基层医院实习什么的（记得成绩单
上好像是写rural medicine)
但在网上选科目的时候最接近基层医院的只有community medicine，这个和学校的成绩
单上用的英文词不一样要紧吗？以后认证学位时会有麻烦吗？是不是干脆把这一科省掉
不填算了比较好？
请有报名经验的不吝赐教！谢谢 |

must be consistent with any official documents. Those are important
information used throughout the application and they must be truthful. |

我是96年预防医学毕业的老生了。06年的时候就想考板，那时研究了半天得出的结论却
是，预防的不能考，于是作罢。
今年有朋友告知说现在预防的可以考了，于是有研究了半天MITbbs，惊喜地发现的确可
以报名了，而且颇有几个预防的成功match，于是下定决心准备再战。
现在看了2个月书准备报名了。可是online application form 中的item 21 clerkship
好难填阿。虽然Mitbbs已经多次讨论过，但预防医学专业的临床实习时间也就是一个
学期（25周左右），如何填写？具体的实习时间，实习指导老师的名字都忘了，一定要
填吗？

混个脸熟有助resident申请，所以基本上没有外国学生的份。还是大家走的路，先毕业
来美国然后申请observership，比较靠谱。 |

度人都是医学院最后一年用旅游签证过来交换3个月，基本上一申请一个准，没啥硬性
要求，很容易，哈佛和yale是2000一个月，纽约那个著名的sloan 还是免费的。
如果经济不是问题，时间安排得过来，千万试试。no harm。这个印度人人人都知道，
