一般来说大学preschool的目的是accomendate children from all family background
。这个有很多研究上的考量。
head start专门给low income的家庭免费的preschool。。不过也有可能那个大学的教
育或者心理系就是专门研究低收入家庭的。大学的preschool 硬件软件上应该都不错的
，主要看你喜不喜欢，可能会黑人比较多，这个和你的地域有关系。我也有去过几个地
方head start主体是白人孩子 当然也都是来自低收入家庭。会不会他们那个preschool
的有几个classroom是给head start 的classroom？但是别的classroom不是head start
？
我觉得head start应该担心的是良莠不齐的师资，大学head start应该师资不会有问题。
他们有没有另一个preschool是面对更广人群的？我们学校3个preschool分属不同的系。 |

发帖数: 2730 | 9 peer effect 有两种 一个是within classroom的 还有是比较general的 比如within
community的。 这两种peer effect起的作用 可能不同 （目前也没有很清楚）。
within classroom的peer effect之前看的不是特别多。但是很早之前，就有发现，在
一个班级里面，常常入学时能力比较弱的 （比如言语），之后发展的反而比较快。而
言语比较强的，倒是出现在ceiling effect，到了一个程度 就止步不前了。 之前的解
读是 老师的教育法制定时 可能会根据班级的整体平均情况制定，所以对于落后的孩子
有很大帮助，但是对于比较好的孩子 帮助就不大了（一位这些孩子已经都懂了） 对于
这些能力比较好的孩子，在班上也没有新的刺激 所以就不会有太大的进步。 所以我觉
得很可能 LZ quote的 指的可能是 within classroom peer effect
比较general的peer effect 倒是一直是有所研究，但是也是比较宽泛的看。这里的

to handle different naratives and essays, one step at a time.
Personally, I do not think reciting articles will help improving a kid's
writing skills. Writing is a creative process, limited by one's imagination
and the ease of applying learned writing techniques. ONLY following a set
pattern from other articles would not produce a good WRITER.

过敏，整个社会都很重视是不是nuts free，这个老师能说出这样的话，真的让
人“震惊得目瞪口呆”！
我们老三上次过生日，有个孩子家长给我email问定了啥样蛋糕，孩子花生过敏，
我说是nuts－free的，但是我还是给蛋糕店打了个电话，再确认一下。结果蛋糕店
说做cream是可能会用walnut oil，可能会对小孩过敏。然后我转告那个孩子家长，
然后我和那个家长就上网查，发现不太可能用到walnut oil，再打电话给蛋糕店，
蛋糕店就明确告诉我们，就算你这个蛋糕里没有nuts，但是我们不能保证做蛋糕
的工具没有碰过nuts，所以，你最好不要吃，万一出事，我们承担不起这个责任。
MM一定要跟校长去交涉，去为孩子争取一个nuts－free的lunch table，nuts－free
classroom。我相信那么多学校这样，也一定是过敏孩子家长们争取的成果。但是
和学校交涉的时候，也要讲究策略，本着寻找solution，探讨的态度，而不是兴师

种类繁多。就在这里请教各位，第一次去打靶需要参加什么课程？考什么执照？有了执
照以后就可以去不同的靶场打靶么？还是每个靶场需要自己的执照？
我查到一个靶场列出如下的课程，不知道应该选哪个。

adults, but they are actually not adults, 所以要still need to 强调课堂纪律.
If there is misbehear in the classroom,you need to address is right away
before it develops to a big issue, some time even stop the lesson to talk
about the situation.
well orgnized and well planed lesson will be able to keep them fully engaged.

I don’t like it that much. It is very easy to get the point to call parents
and I really don’t like to call their parents. I found that even I called,
