Just count yourself and say 'xx independent citations from over xxx counties

My feeling is that it is more important to show wide citation from a large
number of countries/regions and institutes/individuals. |

The table published in 2008.
For example, in the table # citation of a paper in 2005 is an average
citation numbers accumulated for 3 years.
So you should compare # citation of your paper in # years and find one
accumulated similar # years to compare with.

3. 到ISI web of Knowledge， create citation map。

如果有个8-9篇文章，引用有个40-50次左右，打印出来还是挺厚的。这样做够不够啊？

也不能去使用Journal citation reports。
文章citation比较少，想从average impact说下，自己的发的文章算不错的。引用数是
没办法了，就和杂志的IF一模一样的。还想要average catition数目，看看能不能找到

还是只要把他们的abstract页和出现引用我的文章页就行了？
（真好奇那些有2/300+citation的人的附件有多厚？）

10 papers (8 first author)
这10篇paper目前google scholar上总共只有20个citations左右。。。sigh。。。
我的专业不是传统的理工科. 这个学科方向决定了两个难点：一是paper数量不会多；
二是引用数短期内上不去。 我总共才10篇paper。其中引用数最高的paper才被引用了
10次左右。我联系律师的时候，律师好像都不是很有把握，觉得paper数目太少，引用
数更可怜。可是我觉得律师和移民官都不可能比我更加了解我的field，所以决定DIY。

无奖，无报道，默默无闻的那种。
想试EB1a, 但citation 实在太少，大部分文章都是10年后的，很难在短期内增加太多

所以就用google scholar查了。
当然要是几千citation那就无所谓，像我这样几百个的话差100多个还是有很大不同的。
另外我发的文章都是PR系列（PRL & PRA），不知道为什么isi会漏掉很多citation
我身边的faculty, students 查文献都用 ISI。 |

citation的evidence。即使是contribution，如果你仔细看rfe template里面的要求，
citation也只是可以提供的证据之一，不是required。提供citation作为contribution
的证据，是因为这个证据最容易。
我在下面把uscis对authorship和contribution里面2项的要求都贴了出来，排版比较烂，大家将就看。。。

2. review 争取提交材料时到20或者更多一些

没有媒体，没有会议，没有奖项，没有专利。请问如果claim contribution,
authorship和judgement，那是不是我的contribution只能提到citation，但是刚才看
到一位大牛contribution里有很多，比如媒体专利获奖PI等等，他把citation放到了
authorship里面，以证明其文章牛。请问各位大侠，我这个contribution是不是太太太
弱了，就只有citation。感觉我的PL写2页就没有了....................55555

of "authorship", you can simply mention how many citations you have for your
papers; in the part of "contribution", you can use citation to emphasize
what a huge contribution you have made in your research area, such as
citations from different country and famous research group. I hope this

总的case比较弱了，如果想说明significant影响的话一般都是靠citation。如果
citation比较少的情况下，怎么包装比较好呢？

你要找自己的话，应该把自己的文章都找出来，比如说有10篇，然后creat citation
report, 出来的总数就是你的citation了 |

为主，分布于各个州。从2010年到现在大约售出200本左右。
我想把书籍的去向也算为Citation，不知道可行吗？

生物医学类的，PHD毕业一年，文章都这一两年之内发的，共3篇(两篇1作，一篇2作)，
今年5月份交申请上去的时候有10个citation，半年后变成16个citation。反正都挺少
的，还有必要说，这半年增加了这么几个吗？感觉是不是都少得拿不出手阿。。。汗。
另外要求交一个statement，说说人家citation里头的cited elements里面，有没有特
别强调我的工作重要的地方，我看了看，也没有什么阿，基本上引我的文章的，都是只
是提了一下，也没有强调我的文章特别重要的句子，我倒是找了个引用我的文章的教授
，写了个indepdent reference，这有用吗？那怎么强调cited element里有表示我的文
章的重要的意思阿，我都找不着阿，555

证据。
然后在contribution里先简略地强调和重复一下这些一般性证据，接着重点针对
citation里的highlight 的东西（包括正面评价，牛人，牛单位引用，牛杂志引用啥的
）进行深挖，突出自己的贡献和工作的影响力。
最后在totality的总结中再次简略回顾一下citation。
正如很多前辈指出的，IO看你的材料时不一定很仔细，你要抓住一切机会把自己的亮点
展示出来。当然，在反复展示同一证据的时候一定要有详略之分，不能每次都用同样力
度。你的目的是反复提及，让IO即使第一遍错过了你的详细陈述，也能从别的地方发现
这个亮点并重新回到你的详细陈述上。 |
