发帖数: 382 | 1 和朋友星期四打了Cinnabar hills, Canyon to Lake,红tee, 71.2/132.
第一次打这个球场，完全没有热身，上来就连续两个bogey.热身后连续3洞par, 然后在
第6洞标上抓鸟。抓鸟后遗症，7，8洞bogey, 稳定情绪后9洞par. 上半场39。
转战lake, 10, 11保par. 12, 13bogey, 然后14洞悲剧了，3木开杆居然剃头，重开+3
收场。收拾心情后15洞bogey, 16洞par, 17洞birdie, 18洞par. 下半场41。
最后总分80。
说说球场，green 非常smooth and true, 速度也很快。上来很不适应，搞了几次
3putts, 但适应后也搞了几次长推进洞。所以基本上扯平。
第一次打这个场地，开球，铁杆找不到最好的方向和策略，失去了几次机会。
同组除了两个朋友外，还加入了一个本地会员，一聊天才知道他是annual membership,
unlimited golf. 这家伙告诉我他每周至少打5次，每次消耗两根雪茄。羡慕归羡慕，
但每次打同一个场地，半年打了一百多次，好像和我的性格不符。

发帖数: 1656 | 3 我在 cinnabar hills 练球比较多。他们的driving range 非常好。上场的话，去年打
过三次都没破百。最好的一次， lake + mountain 101.
我这两个星期在改动作。到九月份大概会有信心再上场。到时再联系。
在这个场子打球的高手很多。白人韩国人都有。有时候我练球的时候听他们聊天，经常
听到说75， 73 之类的成绩。 还有一个我经常在 driving range 遇到的韩国小女孩
，都是妈妈从头到尾陪同伺候。有一次遇到一群白人小孩上课，远远听到老师介绍说这
个小女孩是某个年龄段 national top ten. 十月份要打什么大比赛。还让她现场表演
连续开十个球，（妈妈先摆好），每个都落在基本同一个位置。小孩们一片哇声。
他们的 hawk plus program, $5300 一年 unlimited golf, 其实是很划算的买卖，如
果有时间的话。训练小孩尤其合适。

We usually tee off from Hawk tee. The lowest I shot there was a 86.
for first timer 80 is a very impressive score.
I remember each hole as back of my palm. From the score pattern, very
similar.
For Canyon, #2,#7,#8 are tougher holes, It was good that you got a birdie
from #6, that par5, i either put a very big number or par it, since the
second shot is about 240 away, it is very tempting to drive close to green
or totally lost the ball.

The best is Cinnabar Hills. They have matts only days on Mon-Wed and rotate/
move the grass band for other days. The grass is good enough for practice. |

summitpointe $66.
pros: challenge course, good deal
cons: course too challenge
B. the other choise is to drive to eastbay, brentwood, play two courses in
one day. we can play Shadow Lakes and Deer Ridge as bedscape mentioned
before.
pros: no crowd, good course condition
cons: need carpool, long drive
C. one round from one of Callippe/Crystal Spring/Metropolitan/Cinnabar

从 revenue model 来算，
7 AM-4PM 共九小时， 每小时 full capacity 16 球员。 算 平均 $50 green fee，
再打一个30% 折扣， 大概 $5000 一天。
一年大概 US$ 1.8 million.
外加events, golf shop 等等算 US$ 2-2.5 million.
如果卖 3-4 倍revenue的话，就是 6-10 million。大概相当于4-5个 palo alto 小黑
屋。

我们这的中国人也有个类似的组织，也是10-20差点的占多数，单差的这两年越来越多
，估计现在有十来个了。大家定期举办个比赛和冬天到南方的golf outing之类的活动
。很多成员也是当地私人俱乐部的会员，所以大家也经常轮流着去对方的俱乐部打球。
不过大多数在邻州，离我们这里还有段距离，所以我也希望我们附近也能有更多的单差
左右的球手，这样我们就可以进行队际对抗了。 |
