最近在帮娃看daycare，附近有一个daycare在church里面，时间早6到晚6，吃饭全素，
但是有牛奶和鸡蛋。其他条件看起来都挺好，周围环境也好，review也不错。不过
church的daycare会不会给娃灌输好多宗教的东西啊，娃刚刚3岁啊，要是被洗脑也太惨
了吧。这问题还没法直接问人家的。。 |

如果开车，DC一带的热闹地方基本都在十几二十分钟车程内；楼下有早上7点到晚上11
点的管家服务，类似旅馆前台，什么问题都可以去找他们；生活机能很好，公寓对面有
两片plaza，走路30秒就到，超市（Whole Foods，Trader Joe’s）餐厅（各种风格）
银行健身房理发店按摩店手机店什么都有；公寓里面也有健身房、游泳池、有氧运动房

那里像样的新房子，都过百万，旧房子，也不便宜。
一般有能力在那买房子的老中，都会首先考虑mclean。
建议你去7号和haycock交界的Giant和mclean的Giant看看，对比一下，就知道了。
falls church那块，比较好的小上学是haycock。
我经常路过george mason high school，好像很小。一边是mary ellen henderson
middle school,另一边是west falls church metro station。

，VA 22044。每天早晚每10分钟一班shuttle去往East Falls Church 地铁站，但其实
步行就10分钟。Oakwood是这片区域内比较高档的小区，住的大多是国务院的雇员，住
户素质很高。
公寓停车免费，我可以给你我的parking的牌子即可。小区内有网球场，排球场，室外
游泳池，另外有免费健身房，桑拿室，房间内还有洗衣机和烘干机。我们家在5楼，窗
口朝向东南，房间内照明都很不错。公寓还有很多免费活动，比如每周一晚上有免费的
桑巴课，还有免费的瑜伽课各种课，周日早晨免费早餐,各种coffee，hot chocolate等
。公寓大厅配备免费打印机，复印机。
公寓走路3分钟可到新开的好运来中国超市，并且附近有很多好吃的中餐馆，越南餐馆
，均步行可达。
现有一张Twin size的床，有书桌，椅子，置物架等，免费提供使用，即日起可拎包入
住。

贤，我们聊得很投机，所以我们就成了朋友。
此人是Yale法律系，Connell哲学系的博士毕业生，现在附近城市做牧师，我后来去了
他们Church一次，里面都是老头老太太，后来里面一个在香港做过报纸编辑的老大爷邀
请我到他们家看看，我去了，天哪简直太豪华奢侈了，他们教会里面还有garden比赛，
种花比赛，养鱼比赛，全是有闲有钱阶级。但不是都住得很近，有的还是住的挺远的
所以我有了这个想法，是原先这有一个Church，这些有钱有闲的老头老太太为了提高自
身精神生活专门请了这个牧师呢，还是先有了这个牧师，大家慕名而来呢？

盛名的牧师-Joel Osteen的风采。记得很多年前，在LA的健身房的跑步机上偶然听到这
个牧师的布道，当时就为他精彩绝伦的演讲技巧和引人入胜的布道内容所吸引。后来得
知他在休斯顿当牧师，不过也从未想过有一天可以有机会当面聆听。这次搬到休斯顿，
就一直想找机会来听一听Joel的讲道。Lakewood church 其实曾经是休斯顿火箭队的主
场篮球馆的，坐落于休斯顿的市中心。后被该教会收购，斥巨资改造成教堂。据说该教
堂可以容纳16800人，教堂改造完成后，于2005年揭幕时，当时德州州长共和党人Rick
Perry和美国国会众议院领袖民主党人南希.佩洛熙都出席了。
一走入教堂，映入眼帘的便是教堂一角美轮美奂、充满现代气息的大讲台。五彩斑斓的

是马克思本人恶心，还是某些党员在执行它时恶心？
我接触的几个church，对教皇和裁判所之类都称作犯大错，当然天主教church没去过不
知道。历史上利用儒教做政治斗争的也有很多，比如罢黜百家。
我不觉得儒家思想和基督教谁强谁弱，信仰本身就是很个人的东西。从文献自成一体连
贯的程度，教会组织系统化的程度，社会活跃度，基督教要比儒家强很多吧，中国儒家
还在百家讲坛阶段。从教义上讲，我作为华人自然天然适合儒家思想（again，其中积
极部分，而不去逐字考据较真三从四德的部分），同时也发现基督教在做人处事方面与
其重合度很高，如前所述，待邻如几，三尺神明，谦虚不骄傲，人非圣贤如能无过（
btw我对sin的理解就是这个“过”，不完美），等等。
佛教比较特殊是因为它在讲为人处世方面比较薄弱，所以我试了法华经楞严经也无法用
它来实际有效地帮助自己为人处世，倒是基督教的self deny/ submission/ service/
humble等方面让我较快地改变（或掩饰）了某些性格缺陷。搞笑的是，我还从church活

according to their understanding of the Bible. Many new comers are attracted
to them because they provide true friendship and warmth, yet leave after

it (north east). We thought it was a park. Many "Feng Shui" websites

House price is lower than other area of the town, affordable to me
Almost every family in that small circle have 1-2 little kids
similar to the age of my kid
不好处: next to Church (?)
院子小 (cross the street playground)
早晚traffic from Christian schools (337 students)- the neighbor said
before 7:45 am is no problem

呵呵，孩子小，常带去church，他肯定很容易就相信Jesus了，
不过你就不见得了。
PS.如果自己不信教，还常带小朋友去church,感觉比较奇怪。不过教会的人肯定都会说
欢迎的，lz自己记得捐点钱就好了。 |
