dialysis or kidney transplantation in US.
You should stop blaming yourself. Like humans which I am familiar with,
there are many causes for an animal to get chronic renal failure (CRF),
including kidney infection. Judging from the age of your cat, it is unlikely
that the CRF is derived from eating pet food that was imported from China

成chronic exposure，这种model不常见，主要见于放射性物质的摄入。第二种model是
长期摄入毒物，而且摄入量大于代谢量，这种model是比较常见的，这种model的
exposure基于两点，第一是长期持续摄入，第二是毒物在体内代谢速度小于摄入速度造
成积累。bt toxin这类蛋白toxin很难满足第二点，这也是为什么很多水溶性的
toxicants/toxins很难造成积累毒性的原因，他们通过排泄系统的速度都很快，很难积
累。

发帖数: 2490 | 23 首先，我想澄清一下你提到的两个“笑点”。第一是关于oral toxicity实验的剂量。
做小鼠／大鼠oral toxicity实验用的是gavage方法或者叫force－feeding，并不是你
想象的那么简单的把药称量好了然后把被测动物拿过来说：sweetie，吃了这200mg的蛋
白粉吧。而是要把被测药物配成溶液或者悬浊液用gavage needle打到胃里，一般的
protocol要求灌的量不能超过小鼠体重的1／100，否则可能有vehicle的毒理反应（应
该是撑着了吧），也就是说20g的小鼠灌胃量要200微升以下。以我有限的gavage的经验
来看，除了很多水溶性非常强的药物，很多药物在2mg／g的剂量以上就很难溶解在200
微升的溶剂里了，需要提高溶剂体积。所以我觉得bt急性毒性用的剂量如此之大，打进
胃里的溶剂量一定会很大，很可能已经超过了1／100的上限了。当然这是我从经验推断
的。第二，关于你说到的化学毒性和生物毒性。所有东西剂量大了都会产生毒性，无论

immbolization.
First, get U/S to have a general idea of the extent of thrombus.
The most fearful complication is PE where patient dieS quickly. IVC filter
will be needed if he does not repond to heparin(Probably not since it seems
more chronic to me). |

may hemarthrosis, joint instability with weight bearing
Medial collateral Ligament (MCL): lateral struck on the knee, no
hemarthrosis,
Meniscal tear (半月板撕裂): subacute or chronic locking/catching sensation.
半月板撕裂 --> 需要半个月慢慢出现症状。
Patellofemoral pain syndrome: chronic overuse, no hemarthrosis. |

Step3考场壮烈回来。第一天挺累人，最后一个block甚至做到有心无力状，看着题反应
不过来，导致来不及做完。非常没有信心能否通过。所以match之前先考Step3的童鞋，
需要考前调整生物钟，坚持锻炼，提高耐力。
MCQ没有资格说，CCS有一点小感受，拿出来分享下。大家请轻拍砖。
复习资料：
UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。
