7月10日），旧金山高等法院采取了进一步法律行动，向暴力事件中的攻击者红衣人秦
境均等发出临时禁制令，保护受害的法轮功学员不受凶徒的进一步攻击和骚扰。

当天，前往旧金山县警长办公室的法轮功学员代表黄先生说：“旧金山高等法院发出这
个禁制令，是因为打人事件后，警察报告，受害者担心在开庭以前再次受到暴徒的袭击
，这个禁制令就是依据法律，保护受害人不受凶徒进一步伤害。”
根据法院禁制令，攻击者不得靠近受害者50码以内，否则就违反了该法院禁制令，可直
接报警处置。8月1日，法院将开庭，考虑为受伤害的法轮功学员给予为期三年的正式防
罪案禁制令。
6月16日打人事件后，秦境均向警察示范他打人用的板和打人动作。秦被警察当场收检。
旧金山县警长办公室官员表示，该临时禁制令自送达行凶者之时起即生效。对于

欧元区财长上周五批准向西班牙银行业提供最高1,000亿欧元（合1,230亿美元）的救助

The matter of requiring paid sick days is being considered in NYC, but
City Council Speaker Christine Quinn is blocking the measure as being too
expensive for small business.
Since when did that matter in NY ? The Speaker's position is laudable
and partly makes up for her craven decision to hop on the wrong side of the
Chick-fil-A nonsense.

已执政12年的纽约市长彭博（布隆伯格）不再连任，明年的纽约市长空缺，刺激了无数
政治雄心者。美国两大政党民主党、共和党，昨日举行了党内初选，决定明年的市长候
选人。
纽约市长在美国政坛地位特殊，因纽约是全美以至世界最有名气的都市，所以市长地位
和影响力都是全国、甚至是世界性的。这次是当任市长不再参选（没有在任者竞选连任
的优势），所以各界竞争者可谓挤破头。在民主党方面，就有13人竞争，共和党方面则
有6人，加起来，一个纽约市长引来近20人角斗（上届美国总统大选，正式候选人有253
人，权力真是诱人呵）。
按美国政治光谱，纽约是左翼民主党的地盘，在总统大选中，过去几十年（除了雷根连
任总统时之外）都是民主党获胜。所以这次民主党的市长初选，更加引人注目，因为谁
在党内赢了，谁就有可能是下届纽约市长。
在昨天的纽约市长民主党初选中，五名主要参选人已「水落石出」。被视为可能是第一
个华裔纽约市长的刘醇逸（John Liu）惨败，得票率只有7%，名列第四；垫底的是前联
