When placing this letter and prefix "a" before a word it means to negate the

The postmillennial view of the Millennial Kingdom was all but extinct but in
the last 35 to 40 years there has been a resurgence in this concept and vie

This system is a fanciful dream. The church will not transform society. The

From Augustine To Calvin
There is no question that John Calvin had a great zeal for God and His

Depravity Equals Inability?
Most Christians, if asked whether man by nature is totally depraved, would l

Simple Confusion Over Inability
Calvinists are to be commended for their zeal to protect God's sovereignty a

exerpt from "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, about Theology vs.
Christianity.

A good many different theories have been
held as to how it works; what all Christians are agreed on is that it does
work. I will tell you what I
think it is like. All sensible people know that if you are tired and hungry
a meal will do you good. But
the modern theory of nourishment—all about the vitamins and proteins—is a
different thing. People
ate their dinners and felt better long before the theory of vitamins w...

thanks for sharing.

John Calvin's commentary:
"
15. To make him a king.
When those men intended to give to Christ the title and honor of king,
there was some ground for what they did. But they erred egregiously in
taking upon themselves the liberty of making a king; for Scripture ascribes
this as peculiar to God alone, as it is said,
I have appointed my king on my holy hill of Zion,
(Psalm 2:6.)
Again, what sort of kingdom do they contrive for him? An earthly one, which
is utterly inconsistent ...

Listed are only events that solely occurred on command or participation of

Ancient Pagans
As soon as Christianity became legal in the Roman Empire by imperial edict (

Healing - From God or Medicine?
Since God cannot change; Jesus is the same; and the Holy Spirit
is with us, then the same healing all through the Bible, is the healing from
God anyone can receive who believes. The healing ministry of Jesus is all
through the New Testament, and since He is Hebrews 13:8 “the same yesterday

(Covenant theology)
(Dispensationalist theology)
