我们家刚刚进K，原来只学中文，没有学英文，所以，现在开始学英文。学区为每个学
生提供了Riz-Kids和IXL的账户，让孩子做。
我进去一看，我自己还有一些生字，可能主要是我们不是土生土长的：

美国的体制就是自由度很大。孩子的班级里，我们家算英语初学者，但是我们很认真地
去完成老师布置的阅读练习。有好多孩子根本不去做。其实孩子的智力也没有多少差别
，但长期缺乏练习，以后差距就出来了。

you should replace the battery, it's the 9V type.
I am guessing you are hearing the chirping sound caused by low battery.
the functional alarm sound from real gas leak is VERY VERY loud. you
neighbour will hear it too.
It went off once at home, and my mom instantly went 傻掉了。。。lost
capability to move, or talk intelligently.... that's how loud it can be,
basically completely stunning.
Don't laugh, hehehe try it on people. reaction to extremely loud sound can
be hilarious. |

说效果不大，iPhone上面也可以用Map定向，不迷路就行了。划船距离有限，戳过的鱼
窝大体位置是知道的。声纳显像速度清晰度操作方面，CHIRP最尖端的科技，DragonFly
很强大。小船Standalone Sonar买DragonFly没有悬念。 |

有chirp, down scan, map, gps, quick plot， microsd
唯一差个side scan了
side scan便宜的要500了， garmin的还没地图
好像网上有盗版的blue chart, 海图都有了
这个是2016的款，现在最新款叫striker了，把所有的地图都取消了，好像很多人都不
喜欢，但是side scan才500，也挺诱人 |

在美国东北部，大多数trail都维修的挺好的。除非大雾或大雪，找路的问题并不大。
地图和指南针就足够了。买etrex 20是因为经常去野外（电池用时长），去其他比较野
的地方（路标少），去划艇（要防水），气温不是很恶劣 （-4°F to 158°F / -20°
C to 70°C)，经济实惠（160美金）
etrex 30 比 etrex 20 多了静态电子指南针，通过气压计算海拔，无线数据分享，
Garmin chirp （a wireless geocaching beacon）。
如果不是经常用，电池用时不长，和不需要放水，那么用手机软件也挺好。 |

。取名Pickles. Pickles是一只非常温柔的鸡，吃东西的时候喜欢欢快的chirp, 尤其
是她吃喜欢的面包的时候。上周突然降温，她好像被冻病了，我和lg本来要带她到
vets去看，但是感觉她又回复正常了，今天早上突然lg 说pickles不吃东西，屁股上堵
的都是poop, 我们出去给她把pp清洁了，然后我马上就给vets打电话，本来vets到周一
都book满了，但是还是挤出时间给了我们。我当时还跟lg说pickle不会死吧，lg说没事
的。我想可能就是感染了，要吃抗生素。没想到，vets一看，说pickles好瘦啊，皮包
骨头，非常不正常。然后拍了x-光片，说很可能是cancer... 我当时就哭的不行了，
vets说活不了多久了，只能put down了。。。 回家后vets打电话来，说解剖后，
pickles全身都是tumor.... 让我们不要太难受。。 我实在太伤心了，养鸡为什么这么
难啊，养过一共4只，只有一只活下来，希望她一直健康吧。。。 |
