大家知道bonobo是跟人类最接近的现存灵长类动物之一。
而该物种同性性行为泛滥，已经成了日常行为。
而与之基因最接近的普通黑猩猩则没有普遍的同性性交。
我觉得可以说明以下问题：
至少在灵长类中，是可以出现同性恋泛滥的局面的。
如果这是基因主导，那么说明自然或社会选择有可能造成相关基因频率极高。
如果这是文化主导，则社会个体的性倾向受文化影响极大，而不是天生的。
bonobo黑猩猩大多是双性恋，文化主导的可能较大，
所以对人类社会有参考作用 |

比较，都是测序后分段比较用算法来彼此分段match的。
UIUC首先完成的人猪比较并有下述报道：

这上面说了人类的genome切成173片可以拼出一个猪的genome来， "Everything
matches up perfectly. The pig is genetically very close to humans."。
但俺没有找到更详细的文章，而且类似的研究后来都语焉不详。比如中国-丹麦的猪基
因研究在2005年测序66%后报道人猪非常接近后，也没有下文了。
俺还看到猪人genome相似度超过98%，大于人和chimpanzee的95%。但这个资料要找一找。

我也是最近分析自己的RNA-seq数据，想到TFBS这个问题。
我得到很多基因可能是被wnt/beta-catenin激活的。beta-catenin不是直接的TF，只是
co-factor，结合了TCF/LEF之后才激活下游基因表达。所以接下来很自然的发现，在随
机检查过的十多个基因第一个exon的上游，有很多predicted TCF binding site。我看
了上游3K的样子，没有海胆的TFBS预测软件，只好纯人工找。。。
然后我就在想那么control是什么？那些下调的或者其它细胞里没有被上调的基因？结
果我又手动检查了十个左右基因，我了个去，同样也有类似水平的TCF binding site。
。。后来老板提醒才想起来，TCF结合了起到抑制作用，后来beta-catenin结合上去了
才会有转录。所以真的就像你说的，binding不等于对基因有直接的调控啊！
这样看来，像我们海胆领域，每做一个TF的knockdown，overexpression都要做一大堆
in situ来看哪些基因真正受到调控，虽然费时费力，但是真的是最直接的证据。这点

那篇文章，原来是准备谈平均工资的。统计局也可怜，每次公布工资统计数据，都
要被网民骂。当时媒体报道，２００８年全国城镇单位在岗职工的平均工资为２９，２
２９元。人们立即开始质疑；哪有这么多？
我国通常只讲平均工资，但平均所得容易掩盖贫富差距。比如说，共和党镇治局某
会员把纽约闹市区的黄金地皮批给开发商，开发商在瑞士银行为他存了三十亿 美金的
回报。如果算平均收入——假设共和党高级干部必须如实申报财产——单是这笔进账，

《射雕》首版60余年后终于译成英文
11月17日，美国Quartzy网站发表题为《中国的“指环王”三部曲终于要翻译成英文了》的文章。据悉，《射雕英雄传》英文译名为Legends of the Condor Heroes， 共分12卷，计划2018年2月发售第1卷《英雄诞生》（A Hero Born）。
对许多武侠小说读者来说，这个世界并不陌生。在他们心中，笔名为金庸的路易斯·查（金庸原名为查良镛）是华语世界最畅销的作家。金庸笔下的武侠世界魅力非凡，不亚于英国作家J·R·R·托尔金（《指环王》作者）的幻想世界。两位作家的作品在创意、广度和深度上不分伯仲。然而，由于语言的鸿沟，金庸在英语国家不太知名。现在，金庸最受欢迎的作品——《射雕》三部曲，在他93岁高龄之际，终于被翻译成了英文。这部小说首次出版可是在1957年。

跟这帮自称理科的文科生物wsn实在纠缠不清楚。给丫们上点洋大人自己的说法吧，而
且都是学术圈的，已有reference一堆，其中一份是著名的兰德公司的报告。
另外，美国和澳洲已立法限制使用脑波扫描仪，拿脑波扫描仪扫本国公民已是联邦法的
重罪。不过这个比较难的是你无法证实谁接收了你的脑信号。所以立了法跟没立一个样。
