我目前是把饭菜放在普通小饭盒里，早晨拿给老师放微波炉旁边，这样中午她们会记得
帮忙热。
但是他们市内温度很高，打了暖气，小孩都穿单层那样。
我的饭菜经常是剩的，从冰箱拿出来的，然后就那么在室内放着，总觉得不够卫生。
我也想过放午餐袋，放冰袋，放走廊的架子上，大部分别的孩子也这样的，但是我娃还
没学会跟老师讲要热饭，他爸爸送时忘了这么做，娃中午的饭只碰了一点就都带回来了
，最爱吃的排骨也没动，凉的确实没法吃啊。我也在教，可是教会之前不能让娃饿肚子
啊。
其他孩子有人就带三明治和饼干，有人是保温盒。
我给娃买过一个桶装的保温盒，从里面掏东西着实费事。现在有点想买那个日本的两截
的保温盒，家里有俩大人的了，给娃买个小的，虽然贵点也咬牙了。
说是可以保温6小时，我想早晨把盒子用开水烫过，然后放了没动过的微波加热的冷菜

庆日多放两天假，一算只要请两天假就可以连着放九天，很合算啊。于是连夜找机票还
不至于太贵、天气不至于太差、签证不至于太难、地方不至于太无聊的，最后选择了危
地马拉。也没什么时间准备，只定了第一天的shuttle和旅馆，就出发了，一路走一路
改计划，还算顺利完成。

应该都看过她参与制作的喜剧连续剧Seinfeld。采访中Carol回忆起她那个爱讲段子的

餐馆吃饭，发现很多老中对西餐一点常识都没有。跟中国一样，吃饭局在美国是一个非

shipment/distribution，导致罐头裂缝变质。建议联系卖主refund。真能扯，烂罐头
之前就有不少罐头带淡黄色，难道哪些罐头都是有裂缝的？这个烂罐头开启之前，没见
到哪里有缝。就算是运输过程中出的问题，包装太烂经受不住正常运输也是他们的责任。
petfooddirect今天把weruva的部分做了refund。
FDA前些天电话问了一些问题，说过两天打电话取馊罐头。现在没有再来电话。

要理解猫食成分表，一个很重要的概念是“dry-matter basis”（干含量），也就是把
水分去掉后，某样成分在食物中所占的比重。只有这样才能公平的比较水分含量迥异的
干粮和湿粮。
干粮大约有10％的水分。如果包装上写的蛋白质含量是25％的话，25％除以水分之外的
90％，得到27.8％蛋白质干含量。罐头或者自制湿粮有大约75％水分。如果有10％蛋白
质的话，10％除以水分之外的25％，得到40％蛋白质干含量。所以这里的湿粮其实比干
粮的蛋白质含量要高的多。

食物的名称和成分有很大关系。如果一种食物叫做“Beef Cat Food”，按规定它必须
含有至少95％的牛肉干含量。如果叫做“Beef Entrée”或者“Beef Feast”，那它只
需要含有25％牛肉干含量。如果叫做“Cat Food with Beef”，那它只需要含有3％牛
肉。不过，这三个例子里牛肉都不一定是食物里唯一的肉质。很多食物含有从名称以外
的肉类来的动物蛋白，往往是鱼肉蛋白。所以如果你的猫对某种肉类过敏的话，你需要
仔细阅读成分列表，而不是只看食物名称。

正名 中餐菜名将统一规范
随着国际化程度不断提高，本市越来越多的餐馆开始提供英文或中英文对照菜单。但中餐菜名一直没有规范的翻译方法，很多餐馆老板将中文菜名直译成英文，闹出不少笑话。一家餐馆曾将火爆腰花直接译成Pork flower(猪肉花)，弄得外国食客一头雾水。
“中餐菜名，不仅包含了原材料的信息，还糅合了很多文化、历史事件、人名等，形成了独特的命名方式。”市外办有关负责人说，很多餐馆饭店的英文菜单千奇百怪，不仅外国人看不懂，连熟悉“中式英语”的国内英语老师也云里雾里。

1)20HEADS, 52 LEGS
20个头，就说明是总共20只动物。如果都是两腿动物，那么20X2=40腿。多出来的52-40
=12腿来自四条腿的猪，猪比鸡多两条腿，所以猪的数目是12/2=6，鸡就是20=6=14
2)The girls (Shari /Corina) have the same number of animals (chicken
and pigs) altogether
Shari's animals have 4 more legs than Corina's
同样，多出来的4条腿就是多出来的猪多出来的，所以是SHARI比C多2头猪，那么两人动物数目相同，就是少2只鸡。
3)shari has largest number of pigs
FROM 2),shari could have 2,3,4,5,6 pigs,但同时C只比SHARI少2头猪，所以应该对应是
0,1,2,3,4.所有合起来不超过6头猪，可以排除5,6.

8/7: 没到一个月整,但又到生理周期了, 就再记一下.
这个月吃得和前面差不多,但最多只又降了两磅,到142LB. 两个月共掉8磅,150->142.
希望到月底至少再减2磅.
有个症状,不知和少吃碳水有没有关系, 就是我近两个月时常会有一阵胸闷,象有股压力
从胸口顶到嗓子眼,再冲到太阳穴,头发晕发涨. 我打电话给大夫,每次他都叫我去急诊,
第二次电话后我就去了,结果也没查出啥来. 我没觉得饿,但也会是血糖太低引起的吗?
急诊时查的血象里的糖是正常的. 还有我近来睡觉也不好,睡四,五个小时就醒.

整一个月了， 基本没运动， 主要是减了米面点心， 没饿着。今早最轻时称１４４LB
， 比一个月前少了６磅。自觉还可。继续努力。
