是本地报纸上的文章，作者Bernie Siegel是个提倡心理健康疗法的医生，写过好几本
畅销书。一共20条survival behavior，有的简单易行，比如我现在尽量每天带小孩饭
后散步，既看风景又互相呱唧，心情愉快。手工抄录给大家看看，嫌麻烦的只要看每条

汉语北方方言中b,d的确和英语的b,d有区别，所以我们湖北的汉语拼音是Hubei，但湖
北的老式拼音是Hupei。
但汉语方言中并非只有吴方言有清浊对立。我生在湖南，湘方言可能也有这种对立，所
以我讲英语的b,d并没有问题。
2）关于true和chew：
大家都知道两者的音标不同，前者是/tru:/，后者是/chu:/或写为/tʃu:/, 在标
准英语中完全不同，但我在北维州发现这里的美国中学生一般都把true读作chew。我考
他们国际音标，他们完全不知道有国际音标。他们小学学发音的时候一般都是用已知读
音的单词音节给未知读音的单词注音。 |

发帖数: 5428 | 21 吃，住，行解决之后，可以买玩具和treat了。这两样东西每只狗的喜好差别很大，可
能得多试几个不同品种之后才能找到她喜欢的，所以一开始不要买一堆，可以每种买一
个试试，慢慢摸索。玩具大概可以分以下几类：有哨子的毛绒玩具(squeaky plush
toys) ，retrieve玩具，拔河（tug）玩具，puzzle玩具/treat dispensing toy, 和咀
嚼类玩具(chew toy)。如果你家里有网球或者飞盘，那retrieve类的可以省掉了，我想
她既然有retriever的血统，应该挺喜欢这种。tug玩具也可以省下，回家找条你不穿的
旧牛仔裤，裤腿剪下来，两端各打一个结，就是很耐用的拔河玩具了。kong toy质量不
错很耐咬，可以找一个能塞treat的kong toy，可以同时满足chew toy和treat
dispensing toy两种需求，但是第一要买size适合你们家狗狗的，第二要买好洗的，有
的kong是一条的，中间塞treat也一条那么窄，残留的treat很难弄出来，会坏在里面很
恶心，另外也只能买kong自己的filler treat，别的很难放进去 |

My Q bites too, just not quite often. He used to bite and leave several
holes on my banana even on my snack bar. Recently,he is really interested in
one pair of my flip-flop. He holds it, biting and pedaling hardly. That
shoes finally become Q's new chewing toy since too many teeth marks and
scratches on them.
Well, good news is Q shows less interest in anything else for chewing since
then :)

既然是2岁了，应该不需要potty train的东西了吧？shelter有没有告诉你她有没有
house-trained？我建议你不用着急买东西，免得买得不合适。领养的那天可以先去接
了她之后直奔附近的petsmart或者petco，放到grooming salon去洗澡，因为shelter里
面毕竟没有家里干净，也害怕有虱子跳蚤啥的，你没经验不会洗也不会检查，所以可以
告诉salon的人让他们帮你注意一下除跳蚤。然后大概让salon的人帮你量个身高身长还
有脖子周长。
这样她在洗澡的空当你就可以在店里买东西了。有了准确的身高身长，找有经验的店员
帮你推荐一个大小合适的crate，既可以当床又可以当运输工具，如果还没house-train
过还可以用来train她，怎么都不浪费。
前面量的脖子的周长是用来买collar的。商标上都有伸缩范围，照着买就可以了。再买

早上带 ZZ 出去 potty ，回来以后他一如既往的抢食了TT 食盆里的 adult dog food
。
他在那 chew 得正欢的时候，我突然发现他嘴里有红红的东西，
抢下来一看，一颗大大的药丸，就象给人吃的大颗粒的维生素！！！
还好没有吞下去，也没有 chew 坏。。。
不知道是哪里来的。 外面草地上的？ 以后得小心了。
我翻了 TT 的 food，没有发现这个东东，但以后也得小心 dog food 里面有没有异物

bully stick磨牙也不错。

。。。。
折腾半天，猫要是不合作，你可能被shed blood，然后还没刷好，猫的嘴又小，牙齿那
种形状，很多地方刷不到，或者直接刷牙龈上把牙龈刷出血。。。。可以去vet专门洗
牙，好好research一下，我们这边100以下就能做到。。。一年洗一次，中间用mouth
rinse，有那种专门的rinse，keep一下口腔的卫生，还挺管用的。。。
我家poodle嘴那个臭，刷牙倒是不会逃命似的反抗，因为她觉得牙膏好吃，但她不喜欢
嘴一直被我那样扳着，她脑袋会一直扭来扭去试图闭嘴。。。一样嘴太小就算她合作也
很多地方很不好刷到。。。所以我给她专门vet那买的chew和mouth rinse，chew或
rinse一下嘴就不臭了。。。虽然管不了多久 = =||| 但总比什么都没有的强。。。 |

1 ProDental ——可以饮用的漱口水
首先可以解决狗狗猫猫的口气问题，自打旺宝用了这个漱口水，口气清新，我再也不
用发愁旺宝舔我了。
其次还能保护牙齿，去除牙垢——这个我还没体会，因为旺宝才开始使用1个月，但
是我邻居跟我说，她家猫狗就用这个水，每次去vet，vet都夸她家宝牙齿好。
last but not least,使用极其简单，每天只要加到猫猫狗狗喝的水里就OK了。

不了3分钟就嚼完了，我觉得这么快吃完根本就不能去除牙垢，还特别影响他食欲。而

这些treats很大，能够真正起到让猫chew的效果。

怎么练习。
我家的是如果他咬了不应该咬的东西， 就大声说no, 然后拿下来放起来。 让他知道说
no 了就不可以咬了。 如果是他自己的玩具什么的， 那就随便了， 不过还要注意一点
， 不要让他把玩具咬破了吃下去。
bitter apple 对我家的没用。 还有小狗长牙换牙的时候会chew 的比较厉害， 多给
