Sunday night had the pro standard and rhythm competitions, preceded by certain
pro/am events and followed by Wendy Johnson's professional show.
Besides all the familiar faces from the bay area, here are several that you
guys may recognized.
* Ben Ermis with Shalene Archer Ermis (2005 Ohio Star Ball Smooth champions and American Ballroom Challenge champions). Shalene Archer was in pro/am events.

what attracted me is the discussion forum on DWTS's website. somebody has a
quite interesting summary of the fans of the show:
"I agree that Cheryl, Edyta and Kym do have the greatest attitudes on the
show..They are all such a Class ACT..However Karina, Julianne, and Maxim may
have been the best dancers out of all the pros,although they tend to expect
too much so they come across as being a little pushy..Then the rest are
somewhere in between.. |

Cheryl's tango is terrible.
Maks tango is terrible. the Roxanne song is a strange version. (El Tango De
Roxanne in movie Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite. )
Alec's quicksteps (already forgot what standard/smooth he did） is
unimpressive
Loius tango is ok.
Of course, these people are latin dancers. they did the steps but with
little flavor...
however, karyna's quicksteps is cute! I don't have much standard/smooth
training, but i can tell. And she is |

I posted the dance studio details a long time ago. Hopefully, these posts
were marked.
Anyway, here goes a summary of what I know.
In the city: Genesis, Metronome
On peninsula: Imperial (hardcore international style)
In south bay: Starlite (now called Cheryl Burke Dance), the dance spectrum,
San Jose Dancesport Center (now called Dance Boulevard I think)
In east bay: Allegro, Just Dance, Premier
