真是服了你了。 明明是Chapel Hill 高中只够 5-6分。 你非要说是great school 在
出错。 太阿Q了。纯粹自欺其人。 请问great school网站咋可能非要误伤Chapel Hill
的 3所高中。 不去误伤cary 的高中 . Chapel Hill 高中几年前还9分，east Chapel
hill 高中 几年前还排全美top 100。 我那时就问过 Green Hope High 为何没进top
100。 因为Green Hope High那时很新，毕业成绩还没出来。
总之，Chapel Hill 高中只够 5-6分。 你不服气，你就去抗议，看人家改不改过来。
Chapel Hill 高中drop to 5-6分 也好多年了。决不是今年才有。分数才是硬道理。
east Chapel hill high附近修那么多 low-income homes。 胖笨小黑，小模加进来充
分体现平权。 另外小白的爹妈也不Care. 校园 drug 泛滥。 |

(B) 熟悉周围地形，哪里有垃圾桶，哪里有洗手间，附近停车场或者drop-off的地方（
停车场最好有2个以上，或者一个很大的停车场），能够手绘或者电脑，做一个简明地
图以及direction -- 包括从哪几个方向过来，应该大概怎么开到停车场，哪里可以
drop-off，标好洗手间等，还有详细有效的地址方便GPS的使用

Chapel Hill 很多很新很好的房子.要自己看过才知道.
根据我看房子的经验, Cary的房子比chapel hill并不便宜.
学校好象是Chapel Hill 好些, 而且都很平均, Durham 的那个私立高中并不一定适合
我们外国人的小孩, 因为它注重数理, 但我们的小孩数理都不差, 所以要注意文史, 呆
在公立更好.我一邻居的女儿被那个私高录取, 但没去, 留在East Chapel Hill High,
今年拿到Harvard, Princeton, U of Chicago etc 录取. 她还不是最好的, 听同校的
小孩说的.
教学,文化,环境, 可能有UNC and Duke 在附近, 有时可能有些小孩的活动之类的比较
方便, 小孩到高中如果要修大学的课也方便吧. 反正这边住的很多也是在UNC, Duke 上
班的. |

名比chapel hill高，不过是要考试才能进的，不象chapel hill只要住在这个学区就能
进。

chapel hill 的rally 很成功，因为是weekday中午，来了30-40人左右，大部分是UNC
的老师学生和工作人员。有local ABC电视台采访，他们说今天下午local news该会播
，11台 WTVD。我还告诉他这是明天全国性的示威，raleigh 也有。
感谢今天puppy 的组织，还有Jerry 的标语牌以及 Tong 和Katie 从carry 赶来给我们
送来标语和宣传材料。大家虽然没什么经验，但非常团结， 我们这也是在抗争中学习
。路上行人也很友好，很多按喇叭给我们加油。
路人都不知道是出什么原因，知道后一致谴责JK. 这是明天的一个很好的预演。

点。Chapel Hill限制建房，所以会好一点。在Chapel Hill买东西可能不是很方便，
grocery store 也就Harris Teeter, 价格相对贵点，去亚洲店较远。好像没啥其他的
缺点。

发帖数: 117 | 47 UNC和Duke的教授大多数都住在Chapel Hill，教授的小孩平均来说当然要聪明些，所以
学生成绩更好学校排名更高。而且教授嘛当然对文化艺术体育需求多一些，所以Chapel
Hill去个音乐会，图书馆，艺术博物馆，篮球比赛之类的那是相当方便。Cary就没有
这些条件了，除了居民区和一些必须设施如strip mall基本上啥也没有了。所以Cary适
合广大RTP民工，价格便宜量又足，学校水平低一些也不足为奇。 |

的可亏死了。 |

知会对学校的performance 影响。 不懂为何 Chapel hill 这样的富区，就同意修 low
-income homes.
RTP 中印大军的孩子们都还小。 等他们读high school 时， Cary 分数就被重写 |

发帖数: 11593 | 50 往西边走走，40的266口下去，Weaver Dairy Rd和Martin Luther King Blvd交叉的那
个shopping center边上有一栋前年盖的公寓楼。那里附近还有好几个小区，房子大概
都是1980年左右的。我在那里的小区里住过两年，2br/2ba的房租是750-800左右。那地
方治安还行，购物银行步行就到，也有去UNC的公交车。不过学区并不差，Chapel Hill
貌似就没有差的学区。= =
另外South Point Mall附近的房子也不错，治安OK，学区OK，离UNC远了点，不过个人
感觉开车还可以接受。那里买房子比Chapel Hill便宜。但是我没去住过，也没去租过
那边的房子，对价格不清楚。 |
