I just got my I140 approved, my first H1B starts in 10/2006, and my current
(2nd) H1B expires in 12/2011.
I'm thinking of changing job, and have the following questions:
If i change my job immediately, can the other firm transfer my H1B and
extend to another 3 years based on
my current I 140? Can I retain the PD if they also start EB2-perm process
for me? Will there be any risk my
current employer may revoke my I140?
Or, shall I wait for some period (say another 6 months) to change my

We don't have ISSS and our H&R knows little about immigration laws.
I'm now a postdoc and will be promoted to research assistant professor( in
process, not sure when it will get through).My H1b expires Aug 17 2011 and
my wife need to change from h1b to h4 this July. I was planning to ask HR to

time line:
485 RD:３月下旬;
485 RFE: 6月上旬.RFE内容:主申请人要补emloyment verification letter,说交的是
offer letter,不算。付申请人RFE结婚证，说交上去的不合格。
485 RFE review: 6月25。主申请人补交了EVL。付申请人和律师及其助手商量了，说我
们刚开始交的结婚证以及美国做的公证材料复印的不清楚，彩打了重新交上就行，觉得
不用去国内做公证。我还很不放心，现在看来国内的结婚证加自己做的英文翻译和在美
国做的公证是可以的。
485 card production: 6月28。这个先开始是address was changed。几个小时之后更
新成card production的。
谢谢大家的祝福。等收到卡了发包子。包子不多，发完为止。在版上混了很长时间，了
解了不少情况，包括140和485的，有问题的可以问我，我尽量回答。

I140 五月交的一直没有动静，结果昨天收到一个 "name change" 的 status update
说"updated your name" “received your request of data change and will make
the change” 我们根本没要求改名字啊 这是啥？给我改成啥了？
更神奇的是今天又收到一个 update, “we received your I-140 etc etc….and sent
you a receipt ” 和五月刚交的时候收到的一样，receipt number 也一样。 这是
TSC穿越了 还是我穿越了啊？

menu recently. None of them worked. I suspect USCIS change that on purpose.
I decided to go through all the menus. I believe this would help you guys
out.

Choose Case status (right now is 1)
Choose Known Receipt Number (right now is 1)

批准了，做一个Update：
个人情况：
- 5年H1-B, 140 approved (EB2 06/2012)
- 2014 06美国境内递交change of status application
- 2014 08辞职，开始全职MBA
- 2014 09收到RFE,要求国内地址
- 2014 10批准
结论是140批准了，不影响change of status.
当时非常犹豫，不能降级，又不知道什么时候能current,H1-B又用了5年了，总之就是
很难的一个处境，现在选择了全职MBA这条路，收获很多，不后悔。
希望大家也能去追逐自己的理想。 |

上面这篇我分析了一下发动重数的好处。我刚给Ling Ling Chang 的团队发了个邮件，

就是昨天说的名厨
一进门是一墙的相框，最引人注目的是大厨和涛哥的个人合影，呵呵
店面不大，估计20-25张左右。我们12点到的，大概坐了一半多。等到1点多我们走的时
候就有不少等位的了。
招牌菜好像多的是川菜，不过我们家除了我她们俩都不能吃辣，所以没点辣菜。点了一
个三菌排骨汤，一个松子鱼，一个京酱肉丝
感觉不错，松子鱼明显比我以前在别的店吃的好，扮相很好，肉比较嫩。京酱肉丝和汤
的量都很足，那汤足够六个人喝的。
以后大家路过Richmond，可以去尝试一下。我觉得比DC那些馆子强。

and hopefully set a new fashion for the new era - that is: men can also
follow women!
Originally I wanted a complete change, but considering the brand equity I
built in 'CallMeLeon', I believe changing my nickname only is for the best
interest of all! I wish, by doing this, I can compete for the 2nd place for
model LG, since the 1st place is already taken by Liu on Wed. |
