成烧天然气并且能够分区（目前只有一个区）。我们准备分三个区：地下室，一楼，二
楼。师傅说要分区只能是水暖用baseboard的那种。这个师傅给我发的proposal是这样
的：
"1 Pull out a permit from DOB for oil to gas conversion of boiler.
2 Remove existing boiler and oil tank.
3 Replace existing boiler with Weil Mclain CGA-5 boiler.
4 Remove existing exposed steam pipe and heating elements.
5 Provide heating elements complete with 3 Zone operation for cellar, 1st &
2nd

看看你们去过几个？
排名第三的彼得堡的state hermitage museum，拍过电影russian ark，就记得金碧辉
煌，没看到什么画……
排第15的Yale Center for British Art我也常觉得比英国的画廊都好……小而精致，
各个时期和画家的代表作收集得很精，介绍也很精，看完印象很深。建筑也很宽敞明亮
，令人愉快，不过太亮是不是对画不好。
有个Doha的Museum of Islamic Art。希望有机会去。
台北故宫上榜，北京故宫没上，倒是北京的789工厂榜上有名。说最近有一个Duchamp
and/or/in China的展览，到六月中截止。听着挺有趣，不知道goldy去看过没。
第50名是波士顿的museum of bad art，听着很好玩，有人去过吗？

去年冬天，我到M城出差。回来那天由于下大雪，飞机晚点了差不多三个小时。我们这
地方是大农村，所以从M城到我们这只有那种坐几十人的支线飞机。大概因为寒流猛烈
，一路上颠簸地厉害，提心吊胆地飞了差不多两小时，终于安全降落。
就在等行李当间，我还在想一会儿开车麻烦了，大雪肯定把车都埋了。。。突然听到有
人用典型的chinglish问我，can i borrow your cellar phone？
我扭头一看，原来是个小帅锅，嫩草嫩草的的样子，拖着两个大箱子，看上去很像是同
胞。我把电话递给他。他就到一旁嚷嚷去了。过了差不多10分钟回来还我电话，没忘记
说thank you vely mush。然后，他犹豫了一下问我是不是chinese。
于是我们就直接用国语说话了。原来他是个刚来的小留。今天也是因为飞机晚点，而且

发帖数: 74 | 48 去了趟finger lakes.天气好得了不得，湖光山色，云淡风清。
这儿最著名的是Vineyard trails. 这里纬度合适，大面积的湖水保证湖区气候温和，
非常适合葡萄生长。所以几个湖边的山坡上遍布了几十个葡萄园。我买了干红，干白，
sparkling wine,semi white各一瓶。最惬意的是在deck上，晒着初秋的太阳，品着新
鲜的红酒，就着葡萄园景和湖景吃午饭。我去的这家是：Glenora Wine Cellars http://www.glenora.com/gln_ldrestaurant.html
还去了Cornell university. 居高临下，有山有水，还有瀑布，爽啊，起码这种好天气
。我还在山下的大湖上kayak了一把，感觉不错，就是现在肩膀酸痛。
labor day回来以后，第二天又请假在家歇着。早上十点爬起来，伸个懒腰吃个早饭。
想着一个人去beach没书看是不行的，就先到书店拎了本Under the Tuscan sun, 转头
看见bargen priced books,又拎了本关于印度的书，主要是出于多了解敌人的目的，嘿

风景照请看5楼。
我们投宿于小镇watkins glen一个可容纳10个人的private home。
主人家有两个house, 一旦有客人，他们就住到后面的log house。
2.5 baths，一个king, 一个queen,一个sofa bed， 四个twin bed。
屋内陈设很温馨也富有游牧特色，有网络和液晶电视（无数dvd但没有cable）。
因为这家人养马，羊，angus，鸡，狗和猫，所以出门能在他们家的农场看到很多动物。
有兴趣想求租的可以站内投信给我，我把地址和联系方式给你。
活动的项目基本就是以看瀑布为目的的稍许hiking，喝酒，在瀑布下趟水／游泳，另外还可以
去cornell校园看看（mcgraw tower附近的地势很高，可以俯瞰群山遥望湖泊，傍晚去
的话还可以看日落）。各个地方都是少于一个小时的车程。两天三夜，白天行程满满，
晚上在酒庄喝酒吃饭，回了家喝酒吃西瓜打牌很是悠闲。
