总是既缺时间又缺money, 不过在五月下旬还是最终决定去一趟。去掉两头乘机时间，
自己驾车大约11天半，从三藩出发转一圈回来，行程约4700miles。 路线是： SFO ->
金门大桥&花街&渔人码头 -> 加州1号路(Monterey-Cambria) -> Sequoia & Kings
canyon -> Yosemite NP & Mono lake -> Lassen volcanic NP -> Redwood NP ->
Lava beds NM -> Crater lake NP -> Portland (Cannon beach & Columbia river
Gorge) -> Mt rainier NP -> Olympic NP -> North cascades NP -> Florence sand
dunes -> SFO . 这其中North cascades 和 Florence sands是我最初计划之外的，最

那个线路是黄石公园-2晚住宿黄石内-大提顿-总统巨石6日游 (盐湖城出发) 2个人1000
刀，外加小费180刀
来说一说有缺点
第一天盐湖城-casper，wy
这天基本开了8个小时的车。晚上在一个days inn住的。
因为这个团有50个人
所以晚上9点多 大家去酒店开始洗澡。几乎没有热水了。。
也没有很多玩的地方，途中去了一个军事博物馆，去了mormon sweetwater rescue..我
对摩门和军事都不太敢兴趣。比较无聊。
第二天去了crazy horse和mt rushmore。。。
也是开了很久的车。。
black hill这个公园有很多cave，比起来人雕的山，我对那个cave更加有兴趣。可惜导
游不去。
第三天又是开了5个小时的车
来到了Battlefield of Slim Buttes。。大概是一个indian tribes和一个和美国联盟
的indian部落打仗的地方。。也是很无聊。一望无际的SD 丘陵上造一个visitor

园子里面没有正规餐厅，只有在Cades Cove Campground store里面有food bar卖
sandwich， pizza之类的，其它几个visitor center只有vending machine。所以午餐
基本上要带，除非愿意开到园外小镇上吃。园子里的picnic area不少，有的还有烧烤
架，有时间的话烧烤也不错，部分地方冬天不开放。部分picnic area还有带seat的
pavilion，估计可以用来办婚礼，需要预定，收10-75刀。具体信息：http://www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/picnic.htm

另外，Blue Ridge Parkway上有的overlook也可以picnic，一般有1-2个site，没
有烧烤架，比如Big Witch Overlook就有两个点。
园外的小镇上餐馆不少，Gatlinburg就不用说了，但是在主路441上的餐馆都没有
停车的地方，只能停到收费停车场，5-10刀不等。快餐有麦当劳，subway等。更北边的

quen is not much use, key for me is parry and fast attacks.
they will not come near me if I swing my sword. only web me. where as my
parry can actually block 5 gangbangs.
so when they web me, I just hold down parry. once I got released, keep parry
but use foot work to get close to one, then fast attack it to death. then
immediately parry up, then repeat.

第二天起了个大早便出发去大瀑布游玩。出发前我到前台去吃点免费早餐，因为我不知
道我们什么时候才会有吃饭的机会，我不希望因为低血糖晕倒的事件再次发生，担心会
把你吓着。看得出来，你和Amily不太愿意吃，的确这个旅馆的档次太低了，用脚指头
都想象得出来他们不会提供什么好的免费早餐，可你们还是陪我去了。对于早餐，我向
来都没有高期望值，只要他们能够提供点牛奶和面包就足够了。
根据网上的攻略，我们决定买adventure pass花一天时间慢慢游玩。
首先我们在Information center的adventure theatre看大瀑布传奇。在等开场的时候
我们在大厅里面转，看展览馆里面展出的Niagara falls形成的自然地理原因，大瀑布
的发现，以及不同时期的建设情况。我尽管很多内容看得不是很明白，但是整个展览图
文并茂，由古到今，由点到面把一个动态的Niagara展现在观众面前，即便是看不懂每
一句话，但完全不影响对这个展览的理解。我不得不再次感慨一下，美国人的宣教做的
真的很不错。后来在Florida的美洲鳄自然保护区参观的时候，我也是同样再次发出相

。很多地方要像蛇一样，双手向前伸直，一点点向前挪。每次看descent就想起那次6个
小时的爬行。有幽闭恐怖症的人是万万不可参加。

最近成了器材帮，又新进了尼家17-55/f2.8的牛头加Tiffen的CPL，花了不少银子。这
下是真要打住了，不能再烧镜头钱了，至于滤镜嘛，呵呵，再说吧。
周末大个子的表弟从东部来加州玩，我们陪着local转了转，去了Santana Row，吃了昂
贵的牛排，周日又去逛了一圈Santa Cruz，正好去试我的新镜头。
Santa Cruz的board walk真是个色彩艳丽的地方，只可惜我恐高，大部分游戏玩不了。
Lift上的cave woman，隔了几排还有一个cave man单独坐着，看着怪孤单的，不知为什
么不放在一张椅子上，估计太胖了放不下？
一个忧郁的少年
这种游戏又转又晃的我是坚决受不了的，只能照照照片而已。
大个子的表弟是一个很不一般的人，当年西点军校全班第一名光荣毕业，然后就在伊拉
克和阿富汗做了三年special force的commander。接着在哈佛读了两年商学 |

距离上次在美国恶土国家公园(Badlands National Park）经历这场惊心动魄的暴风雨
已经10个月了，当时的景象仍然历历在目。心血来潮旧图新修。
好久没来贴图了，这半年来经历了苦赶毕业论文、答辩、带着一大家子搬家与公路旅行
、以及开始新的工作，忙碌充实着。半年来旅行次数不算多，但也有些收获。
二月底与施老师等一众中西部摄友再次汇聚Apostle Island, Lake Superior湖岸线，
二访了一次冰洞。施老师实验做了一半，没带脚架没带睡袋，拉着一帮小伙伴抄起SUV
就赶过来的精神令人感动。
二月中与六月两次游玩了加州。其中六月那次是带着一大家子6口人的1800英里的毕业
公路旅行
六月搬家到了华盛顿州，趁上班之前两次探访了Mt Rainier雪山。

sad. 忽然记起nick cave有首歌叫Henry Lee, 居然完全一样的名字，讲的也是关于死
亡的悲惨故事。一个叫henry Lee的少年被妓女诱杀，抛尸荒野。一阵阵凄风中，一只
小鸟停落在他的尸体上。。。creepy! 不过也只有nick cave能把这么creepy的故事写

电影，先让大家快速画了马，说大部分人会选择侧面轮廓来表达，当时也如此。
另外有Hall of Bulls，Lascaux， France. Most famous, 二战时由kids发现，现在原
洞已经不开放了。No true profile, no front either (composite view), animals

六月二十八日是礼拜六，早上八点，欧姆准时出发前往San Diego,先参
观了UCSD的校园，他们的图书馆设计的很别致，是一棵大树的造型，
暗喻为knowledge,整个图书馆建在一个山坡顶上，山坡上用瓷砖铺了一
条蛇的模样，这个构思来源于一本书，好像叫做pardise lost,山脚下有
本书的雕像，注明了此构思的出处和作者，光顾了合影，没细看，失败。
然后，欧姆便前往La Jolla cave,因为听说La Jolla shore没有coronado
Beach好，欧姆就skip了前者，看完cave吃饭，然后先去了sea port village,
看了几个航母，还有一艘帆船，Star of India,据说是米国最大的帆船，
不管了，只想上coronado岛看海，呵呵。
下午三点，欧姆过桥，来到岛上，因为不熟地形，误开到了军事基地的大
门口，当时那里的士兵问欧姆：Are you lost?欧姆四个人一齐喊到Yeah,
呵呵，好玩。
然后死找趴车位，停车，搬沙滩椅去海滩，左边不远处有个hotel,因为在 |

随着秋意渐浓，又开始怀念科罗拉多的黄叶了。正好上个周末有空，查了下Aspen那里
也差不多是Peak了，于是决定故地重游。
星期六一早坐早班飞机从洛杉矶直飞丹佛，拿好车后便沿着70号公路向Vail出发。出城
没多久，就看见高速边上的山坡上出现了一片片金黄的Aspen，在蓝天白云的衬托下显
得非常的亮丽。
中午时候到了Vail。Vail是一个非常著名的滑雪胜地，情致的小城充满了浓郁的欧洲风
情。
秋天的Vail美景
在Vail吃过午饭后，沿着70号公路继续西行，不多时就到了以温泉出名的Glenwood
Springs。 这次去的是这家以Vapor Cave 出名的 Yampah Hot Springs

中午走，然后6/30下午和6/31早上去玩。因为我已经是我在过去不到1年当中第3次去了
，所以这次去的目的一方面是走trail,还有就想接着夕阳和日出，拍拍sleeping bear
dunes. 如果有感兴趣的，可以和我联系。
btw, 如果打算去mammoth cave的话，2天肯定不够。mammoth cave需要一天，great
smokey mountain需要差不多2天。如果1天1个地方太赶了。 |

五十年后的今天，當時書中提到的一些技術，產品，是不是已經成為
我們日常生活中可以接觸到的東西呢？ 抽了一點時間，整理一下
Steel Cave 中出現過的技術/產品。
1.Robots
Asimov 筆下的機器人可以分成兩大類。一類是Tiktok, 沒有太高的
人工職能，大部分沒有人類的外形，少數幾個即使具備了人類外形，
也很容易就被認出是機器人,例如书中的“机 山米”。 另一類就是
向 R.Daneel Olivaw 這樣的 Humanoid，具备了完美的人类外表，远
高于人类的观察力和智能。
Steelcave书成后五十年的今天，不要说先进如Humanoid,就连简单的
Tiktok也没有问世。商业化的最佳代表大概就是 Sony 的机器狗和
松下的机器人了，但是市面上的一些产品，充其量只能说是具备了一
些“条件反射”的功能，根本谈不上人工智能。
而且在可预见的将来，十年？二十年？ 类似Humanoid这样的机器人
也未必出现。
