100人，按80算那全美： 80 x 160 = 12800 人，大部分是Master program
要求课程： General Chemistry ，General Biology Anatomy & Physiology，
Microbiology，Psychology，Sociology，Medical Terminology，Statistics
大部分GPA要求3.0， 5年以内GRE 成绩， 3封推荐信 和2000小时临床经验
问题： 国内医学院的分数不高，换算GPA 可能到不了3.0， 不够的话有什么办法补救
吗？
另外也是怎么争取临床经验？

经嘉宾和组织者的同意，现将本次讲座的笔记贴出！
嘉宾1：CC
背景：国内医学院毕业，国内实习1年，之后有美国PhD科研经历和文章发表。
CC介绍了如何准备申请PA school。有三项内容比较花时间，需要早做准备：1）先修课
；2）US experience；3）本科成绩单。
1）先修课（prerequisite）：
• 每个PA项目对先修课的要求不同，具体参见项目的网站。
• 必须在美国本土大学完成，非美国大学不算。
• 有的项目要求课程在近五年内完成。
• 很多课程可以online学习（甚至一些lab也可以online）。
• 有的项目不仅要求本科级别的课程，甚至要求研究生级别的课程。
• 本地的community university比较便宜，$50-80/学分，与大学university的
课程无区别。

现在也和usmle申请一样通过网上完成,主要是向CASPA递交申请,以上链接可以看到目前
全国范围内的programs和有些新成立的还未取到accredition的program.向CASPA递交申
请的时间是每年4月17号到5月1号.递交申请之前一定要提前3,4个月做准备工作,那就是
联系名个program,询问申请条件及具体接受申请的时间及开学时间.
我把大况翻译了一下,有兴趣的可以到网页上看.我也同意别把鸡蛋放到一个筐子
里,所以也替奋斗中的兄弟姐妹呦喝一声,希望有关医学职业的有经验者能多多发帖,让
我们更多了解一些其它职业,也多一种选择.
