大名鼎鼎的Carrie Underwood今天到我们实验室参观。虽说St Jude时时有名人来访，

check the current tours's ball flight, it barely rolls after lands. 2-3
yards if no wind.
my current ball doesn't roll too much either, 5-6 yards down the wind.
how to get the carry distance? use a device called rangefinder..
it's all about whether you strike the ball cleanly. when strike cleanly,
especially with short irons, the ball has back spins on it, so it won't roll
much at all. when i am striking my pitching wedge cleanly, the ball
actually rolls backwards after hitting the green. i am sure you see that all
the time on tv.
as a beginner, don't worry about roll/carry. first hit the ball at the
direction you want to hit, as long as you know the total distance your each
of your clubs. once you develop consistent

Thank you both for the help! I think Teeski is right. I need to focus on the
basics, getting my swing right first. Worrying about carry and roll is
beyond my current level.
As for keeping the head steady, yes, I have been trying. When I swing hard,
i can see that my head tend to drop a bit and I have to compensate it by
pulling the club further left, from the video I shot.
The problem if I am concerned too much about steady head position, I always
lose a lot of distance.

Generally speaking, the ball trajectory became lower and I got the same
carry. I placed the ball back in my stance a little. I have been trying to
use more body turn rather than weight shift during down swing.
