It was the famous photojournalist Robert Capa who once said "If your
photographs aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.” He was talking
about getting in amongst the action. If you feel like your images aren’t ‘
popping’, take a step or two closer to your subject. Fill the frame with
your subject and see how much better your photo will look without so much
wasted space. The closer you are to the subject, the better you can see
their facial expressions too.

bos,fabian(?),qaz,thomas,敬佩之请如滔滔....
刚来米国,lab里全是mac,boss们一个个或者似乎
从不知道有wintel这会事,或者凡PC-related东东
皆evil. 偶只好家起尾巴,小心做人.
现在要毕业了,lab里mac也就那么几台剩下了,管
你translucent也好,管你OSX super也好,管你
Photoshop lightning fast也好,这就叫命啊.
如果说translcuency 定位于老太,kid,或office girls
market,那本身就是一种悲哀:就象两个丑姑娘,一个
博学,一个无知,后者只能靠涂脂抹粉来吃饭.两个
靓姑娘,后者只能靠拍写真来度日. 不否人有看写真
的market. 只是这fact本省叫人有点悲哀.

），现在才补回来！老刀会激动的，光听了，回来才发现笔记记少了！
去老刀家之前，光想着老刀家的红叶了，那一片绿映映的新绿让人眼前一亮。今年我只
准备申请病理。所以看到老刀一介绍病理医生，我就静耳聆听。
决大部分内容老刀的博客以及各位前辈都有提及，可是读到的与你真正体会到的是有很
大的距离的。我的老刀会最大收获就是体会，也许好多体会到现在我也不懂，可能只有
经历过才能完全领悟吧。

上两届老刀会，除了来客的微薄注册费，我是用自己的大学给FACULTY的书报费,ACAP和
CAPA上两届分别给的一些资助来办的。而且，我让来辅导的医生们、及来客也带些食物
和饮料。这次除了增加了一点注册费外，本版资深网友，以前也热心答疑的现已为
HOSPITALIST的Wenchuande因有小娃娃缠身而不能来做具体辅导，因而贡献资金作为支持。
她来信一再表示抱歉暂时无法脱身家务，虽然她非常原意来做辅导。
对了， 上两次老刀会，一位我的学妹不仅让她的医学院儿子来辅导，自己开车3个半
小时从外州赶来帮忙，而且带来大量自制精美食物，过程中，也跑前跑后张罗忙活
很晚才赶回去。很多位当地的ATTENDING的夫人都来帮忙了的。
我觉得任何参加者还是应该知道和应appreciate很多ATTENDINGS、住院/FELLOW/MS学
生为你们做的无私无酬贡献--包括时间、精力、财务等。这是最最起码的尊重和礼
貌。
