By definition, burglar is not someone who intends to murder another person.
Therefore, there is no immediate danger leading to bodily harm to a
homeowner in the presence of a burglar.
Hence, there is no legal basis for a homeowner to use deadly force against a
non-armed and non-threatening burglar, unless proven otherwise.
That is the law.
That is the logic.
