to queens, NY almost 2 months ago.
Now I became used to the traffic. New problem is the bumpy road. Today, I
got flat tire half way to my office. My Bontrager hard case tire in my

这辆13款的platinum已经有2万迈，上次在dealer那里换了touring胎，现在夏季很快要
来，估计周末开上沙滩的次数会比较多，所以今天让dealer装了四个wangler
adventure a/t with Kevlar。
轮胎型号是275/55R20
高速上跑了一下，声音不比touring胎大，舒适感差不多，没有体会出那种杂音和bumpy
的感觉，还没上沙滩，所以没法比较off road的performance。
前天打电话给一个dealer，四个轮胎带安装要价1280，在tirerack上只要880，有80刀
rebate，然后给另一个dealer打电话，允许从tirerack直接寄过去，安装费每一只30刀
，共计120刀，加上税总共大约不到1000刀就搞定了。

２.关于上肢力量和塑身
我不太喜欢特别bumpy。如果想锻炼出腰腹和手臂的线条，需要做哪些运动。我目前的
运动量大概是这样：所以力量训练大概是卧推体重的1/2，6×6， 一周三次。有负荷的
仰卧起坐（大概25pound),20*5, 一周三次。By the way, 我上肢的绝对力量不差，但
是手臂偏细。

I really thought Phil would win after he birdied the 16th hole to take the
lead. Unfortunately, the old "Phil" haunted him at the 17th. But what an
unbelieveable putting show by Retief! He putted like he didn't care. When
everyone else struggled more or less on the green, he single putted 10 times
at the last round on a rock-hard, bumpy fast green! One clutch putt after
another. He did exactly what he needed to do to win under the enormous
pressure. Hats off to him!

上一次去最后那一两mile平地走得人差点就崩溃了，endless & hopeless。这次征得
lead同意，背上了ski。好在leader领导下的pace本身比较慢，跟上没什么问题。
把ski扔在Devil's kitchen，然后从chute爬上去登顶。很严重的traffic jam，有一组
guide service的有十几人，这些人很mean，不让我们用他设好的picket，说什么“
This is my picket!"， WTF. 下去的时候在顶上等他们先下，他们一个一个地从上面
belay下去，花了无穷多时间。我们在寒风中雪地上坐了一个小时，人都快冻僵了，幸
好还有太阳。
等穿上ski也不是很爽，雪况很不好，icy & bumpy，加上第一次不认路，滑得也慢.
好不容易挣扎到ski resort lift area才爽了一把，比其他人提前一个多小时，趁机在
车里睡了一觉。
难怪背ski的人上山都比较晚，不用alpine start，都等着太阳出来多晒一会儿呢。 |

相当于模考。
地面部分，被问了各种奇怪的、细节的问题，满意率60%左右。
飞行部分，今天天气不好，比较bumpy，另外不凑巧换了架以前不熟悉，但是大致同类
型的飞机，slow flight的高度浮动大于100，stall recovey过于jerky, steep turn速
度浮动大，高度也没保持恒定,soft filed landing也不够soft。
被肯定的部分是，熟悉procedure, good radio communicaiton,good pattern work
总之结论就是还需跟CFI练习4次左右，就可以check ride了。
这下感觉这个check ride真不容易。这半年下来，看了不少资料，飞了很多次，手头一
直模拟器联系。到现在还没ready.
求大家意见，如何好好复习，一次通过checkride |

on it. Didn't give me any trouble. Steel is really gental on the butt on a
long ride on bumpy roads. I wouldn't trade for a carbon. It's probably a
couple pounds heavier than a carbon, but totally worth it unless you are a
top racer. |

including tri bikes. You can choose the frame material from aluminum, steel
and carbon. Shortly put, carbon is light, but not a whole lot, and it's
harder to maneuver at high speed and when it's windy. steel is soft thus
comfy for long and bumpy rides. aluminum is most popular. if you are going
to invest in a full carbon frame, you'd better make sure the drive train and

雪况上佳，且人不多。我们14，15滑了两天。14号那天几乎一整天都在下雪，租的车子
没有雪链开不上去，就停在山脚坐了大巴，结果快11点了才滑上。没什么风，但是下午

妹都是穿 tank top 在路边休息,美不胜收。
最后要走的上午下大雪，山上估计只有15度，风把人都吹的走。
先贴两个我和我8 岁的女儿在 adventure trail 的 视频，因为在刮大风下雪，路面非

我还阴沟里翻船，撞了一回树枝，我女儿一猫腰，就低头过去了，结果她没有警告老爹
，我一过去，就撞了个眼冒金星。
不过和女儿一起滑，真的是开心。

发帖数: 1435 | 49 我在alta上了个off piste workshop，1点半到4点，只要75块，感觉很适合外地去的想
尝试off piste的同学。Alta本来纸板地图就不好认，标的全是数字，路上倒是标了道
名，但每次都掏地图很麻烦。traverse口很容易miss，没有人带一下要来回找。相比之
下老师们对山都非常熟悉，左钻右钻可以根据学生的能力组合出合适的雪道。Alta是个
ski anywhere you see mountain，我这样没经验的，第二天凭着记忆都找不全头天的
道。
这个课是要在山下买票的，中午在collin's半山meet。我当时从山另一边换lift过来，
都1点十分了，也来不及看地图，一路飞奔而下，幸好没有迟到。meeting place那里有
个小餐厅/shop，走groomed都会路过。
上来有个负责人询问一下你的基本情况，然后分给一个老师。我到时有3－4个老师在等
，每个人只有1-2个学生的样子。课最多5个人，但如果水平不和，不会都给同一个老师
凑班。我上来一问三不知（ballroom在哪？你们地图我实在记不住呀），直接被分到没
