we are not discussing anything about comparing tablet with ipad.
right now it is about if ipad is convinient for daily usage.
Just as iphone is not the first phone bring in web browsing, but it is the
first one give the real browsing experience for the massive user.
IPad MAY do the same thing, and the world expecting the ipad get soemthing
done which tablet failed for many years.

最初两个月还是三个月,降价前,是25万台,降价之后两三个月卖到一百万
并且降价后很快unlock就出来了
因为一代用edge,tmobile或是att没区别,大量的人都在unlock后用tmobile
同时apple反破解的力度也远不如现在明显
绝对没有3.1.3版半年多没法破解的情况
至于价格么,我只能说,iphone一代相对当时其他smartphone的优势
完全值那个定价
我之前用的tmobile的MDA,也是支持一堆功能,但使用体验上就是一坨
07年的时候iphone那个safari已经秒杀一切其他机器了
我记得当时有一个数据,就是iphone一个设备,贡献了全部mobile browsing的7成多
换句话说iphone使得mobile browsing短期内扩大了3倍
这个优势,使得iphone绝对有资格当时那么定价 |

I do not need extensive tab browsing on iPad. My browsing on iPad is either
in apps, or normally quite focused. Which I like. Laptop is often too
distractive.

BTW, both on my iMAC desktop and Mac prof, I cannot use preview or other
photo apps to browse photos with slide show. Each time only one can be shown
; need to close and open another one, etc...

need a space online. And I suggest you find one in China. (use search engine,
you may find some.)

There is only one drawback in Henry's website. There is no discussion,

I'm using win2003 admin account, IIS started. I created a default.htm in
wwwroot, and type in IE: http://localhost/, default.htm can be browsed.
But the http://localhost/iisstart.htm cannot be browsed:
"Under Construction
The site you are trying to view does not currently have a default page. It
may be in the process of being upgraded and configured. "
I have registered ASP.NET and enabled all Web Service Extensions but no use.

i can open it using sql server 2012 express.
Now i'm following the book trying to create a c# project connect to it,
(the book uses NorthWind db file, i cannot open it as it's not for sql 2012)
at step 9, i choosed my db file, i click "ok", but nothing happens other
than hearing a bell.
Any help appreciated !

your 5800 uses LGA775 socket, which is a pretty old board, but still usable.
update your graphic card won't do much, 5670 is enough for web browsing.
8gb is enough.
your Win7 is 64bit? remember if you use 32bit, it only recognize/uses 3.25gb
of ram no matter what. if you really want to upgrade, spend 400 bucks, get
a new rig. =)
plus... 120gb HD? is it pretty much full now? -_- |

there are 3 computers in one room. there is a jack on the wall of that room
through which connections go out. i do not know what is behind the wall
(either a switch or a router).
there is server computer in another room (in fact, in another floor of that
building). and i want to connect the 3 computers to be able to BROWSE the
server.
i can ping and net use the server from the 3 computers but can not browse
because they are behind the router and in different subnet from the serv |

cable. B is connected to the same wireless router through wifi.
For A, I set C:\User as a share folder.
For B, I open the file explorer, click tools->map network drive->browse
but I can not find the shared folder from computer A.
Strange thing is, I can see B from A, by click tools->map network drive->
browse, under MSHOME
Please help.
