街，位置大约在联合国总部和中央车站之间的中点上。在大堂里著名的巨形地球仪旁边
，每隔一段时间就会出现一个特别的募捐箱——回收任何未过期且不易变质的食品。
比这更令人惊讶的是募捐箱上的海报：一个啃着青苹果的大脑袋儿童，边上写着“纽约

brooklyn也大变样了, 可能还有少数深度黑暗区, 我没去过. 主要就是bronx那里, 还
有queens的jamaica那里, 治安还是比较low, 但是也比芝加哥强.
bronx那里除了yankee stadium我其他地方轻易都不去, 一下就直达bronxville
jamaica那里经常去, 因为要转车或者去政府衙门什么的, 那里的主街一个街区能有三
对警察. 所以至少白天还是让人放心的.
我去过的黑人区里排名, 最恐怖的是LA的 skid row
然后是巴尔的摩, 然后是费城, 然后是NOLA, 再然后是buffalo , St louis等

车。正确的做法是保持一定速度，只要别停下来就行。
摩托车速度有优势，汽车优势是块头大，如果路虎哥在追逐过程中撞翻几辆摩托车，后
面的摩托党就老实了。但这样被撞翻的摩托车手非死即重伤。如果事后路虎哥不被警察
和法官认定完全正当防卫的话，后半辈子就惨了。法律风险太大。
（其实一开始摩托党已经两次试图拦停并攻击路虎哥，如果路虎哥撞翻几辆摩托车被判
正当防卫的可能性还是很大的）
最后一个错误就是慌不择路了。事件的发生地点是曼哈顿岛西部Hudson River边沿河的

问题的。正如没有无缘无故的爱一样,人们也没有无缘无故的对某些族裔的恐惧啊。why
? 都是有原因的。
说起烂区,好像你自己去居住过一样,即使不是天天躲子弹,但也差不多了。我一个同事,
他原来去south bronx (bronx 最烂的地方)收房租,私人房,还不是政府福利房哦,他说
每次去一定会带上枪的。别说老中种族了,混熟了才知道其他族裔也都不大喜欢深色。
当然他们会说:如果是个很nice 很decent 的人,接受起来做媳妇/儿媳妇都行。但真到
找的时候就不多了
综合起来,我想说的是:族裔脸谱化是有一定原因跟道理的。但是当真实接触人的时候,

可以去Bronx Zoo, Aquarium, Queens Zoo, Central Park Zoo,还有一个忘了。进门后

Aquarium, 发现原来是在Coney Island, 有不错的海滩，boardwalk, 旁边有很多游乐
场。
另外免费parking.这个也是我们觉得不错的。非常的方便。
总之感觉上相比正常平价门票只要你去玩两三次就值回票价了。以后每次去都成了
bonus. |

发帖数: 5511 | 48 你这是对turtle back zoo的性质不够了解。它们那里的动物大多是救助来的，而非买
来的，非盈利性质的。和Bronx zoo比是要小很多，但是它是更适合小朋友，里面有
free的小火车，有骑pony，夏天还会有butterfly园，鸟园（可以喂）。至于那个猪养
鸡是farm，让小朋友认识farm里的动物。。。小巧玲珑，1-2小时逛完，小朋友不会太
累。
Bronx zoo够大，动物够多，但分布的很开，一圈逛下来会比较累。
你不能以大人的角度来评判。毕竟zoo是小朋友去的多。 |

发帖数: 10 | 50 小女子才疏学浅，迫于生计，拿着拿不出手的工资却得在Manhattan上工作，明
年开始上班。之前没怎么去过NYC这种大都市，但也有耳闻，衣食住行样样都是问
题，不过其它还好办，现在得先把住的问题解决了。
上班地点会在E 52th Park Ave附近，听说是NYC房价最贵的地方之一。原本想着
工作繁忙得住近点能有多点时间下了班休息，打算找个步行30分钟内能到公司的
地方将就住着，studio, one bed room什么都好，有个睡觉的地方就好。反正还
没找到另一半，也不是长住。原计划是2000以内能搞定，后来发现工资没有想像
的多，自己还得shopping什么的，就把budget降到1500.再一想这样的钱感觉是
不可能找到能住的地方了。
于是又上网找了下，发现不少人都住在上东，Bronx, queen, NJ这些地方，买东
西方便，进城也方便。这里我有两个问题：一是如果我从上东过去估计还好，但比
如我在NJ，queen上班时间坐地铁会不会像上海北京一样被挤得脚都着不了地？在
上海挤地铁的悲惨经历我可不想再一挤挤一年了。另外就是在上东，bronx,
queen, NJ这些地方的话哪 |
