一家加拿大公司，匯款250萬美元獻金給川普競選團隊募款負責人布洛迪（Elliott
Broidy），目的在於影響美國外交政策，讓美國對卡達改採強硬立場。報導指出，這筆
匯款雖然實為政治獻金，表面上卻以顧問、行銷與資詢等費用名義報帳。
報導指出，納德先前已經同意配合特別檢察官穆勒率領的「通俄案」調查團隊，以證人
身份接受詢問。
美聯社引述兩位要求匿名的知情人士指出，納德去年4月匯款給布洛迪，希望說服美國
改變對盟邦卡達的對外政策。卡達、阿拉伯聯合大公國向來均與美國關係友好，但與阿
拉伯聯合大公國則處於對立狀態。
報導指出，布洛迪收到納德透過加拿大公司匯款的一個月後，便舉辦了一場關於卡達與
