capital gain is taxed at corporate level before payment to shareholders.
Buffet already paid corporate rate of 35% for BRK before he pays for his
income.
Remember if there are no owners of business there are no need for employees. |

it, that is, to invest in your existing business, to invest in emerging
business, to pay down your debt, acquisition, and to pay dividend to
shareholders.
Obviously, the majority BRK shareholders believe to divert part of FCF to
dividend is not a good idea in terms of capital allocation, as long as WB is
at the helm. They are damn right, for nearly half a century, and handsomely
rewarded. |
