Belmont 大部是50,60年代的房子。 只有某些san carlos的房子是40年代。有的区70年
代后才developed。san carlos大部（britan 北?）属于Carlmont High API830+.
交通方便不方便，看你的office在哪。如果你office在santa clara，belmont/san carlos跟
北fremont差不多。
坡上的房子有坡上的好处。房子和房子距离远，有view，privacy好，绿地多，动物多。 |

发帖数: 43 | 19 我住在San Carlos，El Camino以西非常nice。Elementary在San Carlos 都是好学区，
没差的。最好的区是White Oaks area， White Oaks Elementary 10 out of 10，
Arundel 10，same。Heather 9，Britan Arces 8。但缺点是San Carlos没有高中，所
以只好划到redwood City（就惨了）和Belmont的高中。
San Carlos的居民比较classy，以欧洲第一代移民和老白老美居多，我的感觉是他们大
多教育背景良好，是professionals 不是红脖类的，他们的一些比较好的习惯也沿袭下
来，也有很多嫁给老白老美的亚裔女住这。自然环境优美，很多mature trees，hills
，creeks，我私下以为是peninsula最好的地方。
整个San Mateo County房子贵，房子老，基本是1930s’40s’，50s‘很少有新房子起
来，因为city很难批下来，周围居民反对，city也想保持原样和保护环境。个人认为

看英军像谁投降就知道了。这三年时间，主要的战役在美国南北卡罗莱纳，这可都是当
地民兵自己打的，打了很多漂亮战，有一个经典的战役Battle of Cowpens，堪称美国
版本的背水一战，基本全歼英军在美国南方最精锐的Tarleton's Legion，彻底扭转美
军在南方战场的形势，The Patriots里面最后的决战就是拿这个战役当的原型。美国南
方州地面战争跟法帝没有半毛钱的关系，美军的顽强是英军开战前没有想到的，所有欧
洲人开战以前都以为是英军正规军平推美国民兵的乌合之众。
美军比国军表现好太多了，两次吃掉英军总兵力1/4左右的主力部队，还打赢打平了无
数小战役，能在法军加入以前和英军保持僵持。比国军一路逃跑强太多了，更像志愿军
在朝鲜战场上的表现。当时美军给欧洲列强最深的印象就是哪怕打了败战也有序撤退，
很少有大的溃败。英军拿了无数Pyrrhic Victory，最后Yorktown 以后，英国总理Lord
North辞职的时候气的说谁要继续战争就是Enemy of Britan。

了，一直都没去下来看，昨天在狼藉看到了介绍才赶快去拖下来。
是Code Geass播出之前（还是播出第一集后？）的宣传节目，做成了真人主持的Britan
ia帝国的新闻节目，很有特色，有声优配音现场、声优和制作人员的采访，角色和机器
人的简介（拿了不少模型，里面连SEED的都有），Clamp的角色原案、OPED歌手的采访。
还不忘“杀必死”一下，这个Code Geass居然还搞了个B～Girl选美活动，一群ppmm只穿
着内衣站在台上，采访获胜者时那个mm也一直只穿着内衣，然后镜头转回演播室，主持
人一副看的很入迷的样子，ft！ |
