巴西木料。我有一整套的sample，比较以后就发现，其实Brazilian Cherry是中间最便
宜，也是最不好看的一种。看得比较高级，而且价格适中的，大概应该算是Amendoim和
Santos Mahogony。 |

我的体会，仅供交流。希望大家踊跃补充。
1。 时间：
The best season is fall. 空气湿度合适。夏天装地板太潮，地板含水份高，冬天会
有缝隙。冬天太干燥，如装得太紧，夏天会“爆”。应力是很大的。
2。 地点：
当然是你们家了。但是这个Installation 只适合有地下室的房间。也就是说有sub
floor 的，不是在水泥地的。(其他的以后单说)
3。地板选择：
凭个人喜好。我个人愚见（may be not right）
Brazilian Cherry: 看着豪华，质地坚硬。
Walnut, Mahogany: 也好。但颜色太黑, 还贵。
Oak, Maple: 浅颜色亮，适合书房。但质地软。
Bamboo: 浅颜色亮，适合书房。新产品，让别人先试。
记住选地板的要点：要nature color的地板。
因为即使从一棵树上锯下来的木板，部位不一样，颜 |

我也是在南方（德州），还有几个问题文中未说清楚想请教：
1. 不明白为什么要选择光感度大的，我的理解光照容易变深岂不是会和光照不到的地
方将来会有颜色差异而变的不好看？这个光指的是太阳光吗？
2. 我也喜欢brazilian cherry，不过有的表面特别光亮，有的就没有，有什么区别吗
？还有unfinished和finished有什么区别，locked和非locked有什么区别？是不是一般
都是买finished和locked即使不是自己装？
3. 我记得还有什么nail down，glue down，什么float，等等等等都是啥意思啊，哪种
好？
4. 宽度选择，是选中等宽度（3.5in左右）的，还是宽的（4.75in左右）？

偶的想法是，楼下铺硬度大一点的木头，像Brazilian Cherry，for example, 楼上铺
硬度稍微小一点的木头，像maple 或者oak，这样楼下的地板会相对不容易变形一点...

想在房子里铺Bellawood的Brazilian Team solid wood flooring，请用过Lumber
Liquidators特别是Bellawood的朋友们谈谈看法。。。
网上很多骂Lumber Liquidators，但偶觉得那很多是出于嫉妒，是竞争对手写的。LL应
该是一家很成功的公司。
As far as I know，Bellawood的exotic wood是由南美运来木头，在Virginia加工的，
应该不是made in China，是吗？（我在网上看到说LL的一个牌子Virginia Mills是中
国制造的，不知是真是假。）
