Missouri have been identified as the victims of a drowning at a Branson
hotel swimming pool.
The bodies were discovered in the Days Inn pool early Sunday. Friends told
police the couple went to the pool around 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Police said
the cause of the drowning is unknown but that there is no sign of foul play.
The Branson Police Department identified the victims as Fanjun Meng, 29, and
Chunyang Zhang, 26, of Columbia.

Some of us are planning a trip to Branson during fourth of July weekend. We
are leaving on Friday July 2nd, and coming back on Monday the 5th. We now
have 14 people are going for sure,8 boys and 6 girls.
The initial plans are:
. Depart on Friday afternoon.
. Spend Sat on the lake playing deck boats/jet skis, bbq afterwards.
. Spend Sunday at the Silver Dollar City (www.BransonSilverDollarCity.com),

City 一进门，不注意就错过了。很深，可以装下自由女神像，非常神奇，还有一个
地下瀑布。

if you purchase tickest online, you can get a ticket good for two days at
one day price, about 60$ .
i heard that if you go there after 3 pm and buy the ticket, you can go the
next day free as well.
the rides at the SDC are pretty good. there is a cave, which is very good
too, look it up on tripadvisor you will know more.
i recommend Dixe stampede as well, with dinner included.
and there is table rock dam lake and a fish hachery (free) tour.

这两人有一个会游泳, 一个不会(听说的). 晚上9 点多去游泳. 一般的小酒店的游泳池
都没有救生员. swimming on your own risk. 单凭这点很难去告酒店.
有两种可能性:
1.的确是意外. 比如说, 一个溺水了, 另一个去救, 结果两人都淹死了. 很多酒店游泳
池也足够深到淹死人.
2.谋杀后, 被人扔进游泳池. 但呛水而死和死后被人扔进水里, 应该有所不同. 警察也
没发现有谋杀的迹象. |

又一年的Labor Day，我们去了美国朋友们推荐的密苏里州南部的小城Branson。因为开
车从家到那里不过4个小时，我们没有订机票，只是提前几天在priceline上拍了住处，
$42一晚的Days Inn， 提供免费早餐和停车对我们这样的年轻人来说已经足够了。因为
吸取了今年独立日在St. Louise的Gateway Arch窗口 没有买到票的教训，出发的前一
天（9月4日）我在网上买了那个Duck tour下午两点的票，也不知道当时怎么就看见了
那个所谓特价的package，买这个游览车的票和Dixie Stampeded的票一起可以便宜$5，
我查了下Dixie Stampeded的票价后，就很开心的买了这两个票，之后又打电话订场次
和座位，才被告知，这样的所谓特价票其实是坐在4~6排的本来就便宜$5的票，好在那
个接电话的先生说为我们选择了很好的第四排中间位置，让我好一番激动——其实进场
每排都是按观众到场的先后顺序坐，与票号无关，不过这些都是后话了——当时我还真
的好感动。

Silver dollar city玩了两天，下面有个巨大的cave。
Whitewater一整天，从开门玩到关门。
看了N个show：Broadway/Glee，Magic，Country，Variety，还有上海杂技团
Tower of Inspiration上坐Zipline下来，然后参观小说《The Shepherd of the Hills
》的发源地。
Branson Landing有很多店，sales tax竟然比湾区还高，纯粹宰外来游客。
每半小时一次的音乐喷泉，配着大火炬，很奇怪。 |

我一个人带2宝，我妈和我姑妈就开了4个多小时就到了
然后去杂技团看表演
那里的朋友问我想要玩什么？我说我就想逛逛和去那湖上逛一圈。她说，那就坐鸭子船
吧。
嘿，真不错！
是水陆2用的战车改建的。

streets. We did not stay the night there (we stayed at Ozark lake the night
before), but I was amazed by the size of tourism in this town. Imagine Las
Vegas scale, but just replace 4 stars hotels/convention centers with motels
/theaters, and you got Branson. |

闸那儿钓了几次，只有放养trout，是不是时候不对？tablerock湖太大，不知道从哪里
