打电话去问咋回事, 说需要用HDMI线连接电视和box. coax cable不行.
可是给我的box只有coax cable出口和component cable. 而他们根本没有给我任何com
ponent cable.
花一个小时再跑一趟local office换盒子有点烦, 反正每个月要租金, 要不就自己买
一个box算了. 希望能带hdmi和自动录节目存储的功能?
cable modem也要租金, 干脆也买一个算了. 另外再求推荐无线路由器

用的是414（h），因为是pretax的，所以不能用来算credit,而且在w-2里也在box 14
里注明了，可是又有110刀出现在box 12里。google了一下，结合8880的instruction，
貌似是voluntary的contribution，所以不确定是否是只要出现在box12里的钱就可以
claim credit。有经验的高手请指点下迷津啊！多谢！ |

本人是F1 第二年 ，从6月中旬开始做RA， 前2个月都有扣联邦税。
最后总收入是超过5000 的, W2 的 box1+ 1042的box2 加起来也等于W2 的box 16。
请问这种情况是怎么回事? 还能再享受5000 的减免么?
1042 里的 这 2715 是怎么回事?

发帖数: 495 | 15 我收到的1098-T上 box 5 scholarships or grants列了一万多刀，这个钱是没有到我
收上而是直接用于我的学费的（tuition waiver嘛）。按说这个是non-taxable的。对
应的，box 2 amounts billed for tuition里列出的是一万多（比box5稍微多点）。我
实际交给学校的是二者的差额，外加一些医疗保险之类。
但是TurboTax和TaxACT都把这个钱算成是taxable scholarship了。1098-T我在填写的
时候是按照表里实际金额写的。
求问这个box 5的数字怎么才能按照non-taxable income算呢？

box. it free up some space for hud if you don't need chat box usually.
in my layout file, the line is
